(More customer reviews)Wow! This dragon will probaly be the #1 favorite of all the series (Besides the Sorceress boxed-set for series 3). Why? It's GOURGEOUS! Series 3 Water Clan Dragon is, in a lot of ways, like its series 1 brother, except for wings. His back legs are different as well. Instead, his back legs have huge flat fins like wings. With this one, the dragon has an eel-like tail, like series 1 water clan. But unlike series 1, this ones tail is BENDABLE! His hands have long claws that are webbed and his eyes have a marble black gleam. This ones face has a skeletal structure to it, like series 1 fire dragon. A problem is the base is a little under done but the dragon is to beautiful, it more than makes up for it. The dragon is also white (like the fire clan dragon in series 1) with blue, black, and yellow streaked across him. And when you compare him to the other dragons, he seems to be the biggest. HOWEVER, there is a problem with the packaging. The package bends his, gigantic, back fins to a point that they rub together in a way that makes his legs look funny(IF YOU WANT TO - you CAN bend the fins the way you want, this dragons fins are durable). I've also heard that some of the bases have the hole (for the pole to hold him up) at an angle that puts the dragon at an annoying lean that makes him fall over. BUT besides that, this dragon is a -MUST- for any McFarlane Dragon collector.

(More customer reviews)This is a very detailed, well made figure. The M-16 can be slung over the back. There are binoculars that can be held by the figure, as well as a pistol that can be removed from its holster and held in the trigger hand. There is incredible detail with the helmet, clear lensed goggles, bayonet, ammo pouches, gas mask carrier, and CamelBak.
At clearance price don't hesitate to buy this figure. It is very realistic and accurately portrays a soldier in the Middle East. It serves as an excellent memento for my time served in Iraq.

Spawn Series 28 Lotus Angel 2 Review

If you collect Spawn, you know the company LOVES to make two versions of its figures. I believe the figure here to be the varient of the series! The one I got from TRU isn't showing as much skin; there is a part of the outfit over the chest to neck.
Actually, I think mine looks a lot better... But, I think the picture here is of the more rare one?
Always something to be wary of when buying Spawn figures online.

(More customer reviews)This is not really a toy, but an adult collectible (I don't see much "play value," here). The accuracy is truly amazing for the price! I was very pleasantly surprised and bought the entire series. For ten bucks a piece, they look great on any shelf. Color, detail, facial expressions, all are first rate. A great value for an exceptional collection of figures. You really cannot go wrong. The figures are a little over 6 inches tall (a little more than half the size of a GI Joe for example), and the bases that are supplied are durable, work well at supporting the figures, and add context.Well done McFarlane.

McFarlane Toys 6" LOST Series 1 with sound & props - Jack Review

(More customer reviews)A very detailed figure form MacFarlane toys. The base is Polyresin and its heavy and feels solid. I think the figure is some kind of plastic but it feels and looks good and not plasticky at all. The base needs ot be assembled with parts of the debris and the insert points have certain shapes to to whihc pieces fo debris attaches to. Its fun assembling it. The background is cardboard and has unfinished back, so it doesn't look great on a ledge where you can view from both sides. The cardboard is mounted on plastic supports that attaches to the base. I would advise care when assembling. The audio part is a black box that attaches to the base too via the plastic support and this is behind the background cardboard. Needs 2 AAs if I remember it right. There is a small push button that triggers the voice and there are 3 dialogs that play alternately. Attaching the figure to the base was difficult as the attach points are not proprly aligned. I broke the polyresin peg while trying to remove and reattach. Thats the only gripe I have about the product.

Some of my friends, who are collectors of things, told me not to open the box. But the way I see it is that I bought the item to enjoy it. And that means I want to put it together and display it on my bookshelf. So I opened it and I don't regret it. Charlie looks very cool on the shelf. Hopefully he'll soon be joined by some other Losties.

(More customer reviews)Muffet vs Spider! This is one cool looking figure and since the accessory spider is as big as Muffet makes it a kick butt scene. Again the turn is to the S&M pink & black leather bondage look, similar to the spiked outfit of Red Riding Hood. This is certainly not the image your mind conjures up to the nursery rhyme but it's a great display piece. The downfall from five stars is that when setup, Muffet is almost obscured by the spider. Both pieces look great in detail but a slightly different pose may have improved the figures.

(More customer reviews)this is an awesome buy. i was very happy with finding it under a hundred $. it was also sent well, received on time and not broken. my only issue with this purchase, is that it was advertised "new". this was not a new figure. it was in it's original box, but it had been taped back into it. there was also no paperwork in the box (as comes with all figures that have pieces to be added to it) that told how to put it together correctly. i did not contact the sellers, as i had already opened it and broke the background board trying to put it together. i still think it is an awesome buy, but it would have been nice if they had made sure all of the components to it were back inside the box when they re-taped everything.

Dragons 2 Boxed Set - Eternal Clan Dragon Review

Again, for collectors who like to keep their items boxed, this dragon will be far less impressive. Does not display well in the box, and requires assembly.
Good luck to everyone on assembling this, by the way, I hope yours fits together better than mine! It took two people to push the wing into its joint, and it still isn't completely flush. Bits of the dragon rip your flesh off while you try to pry that wing in. SHARP and not for children or play!
The saddle straps on the back of the dragon were also ripped on the dragon I received and had to be glued. Always makes me sad to receive something broken, and with most 'action figure collectibles' once you open them, there is no exchange. (This policy needs to be removed... I have lost MUCH money on factory defective and broken-when-I-bought-them items!!!)
The stand/long peg also present some issues... my dragons non-articulated legs are too tight on the base peg, giving the figure a little lean; and the base is a bit too small to accomodate the great weight and wingspan of the dragon. You have to tilt it into the wrong direction to stand at all, and then be very careful.
Problems aside, this figure displays beautifully, and is my new favorite of all the Dragons. Still impresses me everytime I see it.
I have heard rumors of a greenish version (mine is purple), but not seen a picture...
Amazing figure, highly recommended, just not very durable.

Halo 3 Legendary Collection - Arbiter (Colors may vary) Review

This Arbiter figure stands 6.5 inches tall. This is figures format is statue. Meaning there are no movable parts. The pose is well chosen. The Arbiter is in an attack stance while holding an energy sword.
The design is highly detailed and acurate. I was impressed at the level of details observed in the armor and skin texturing. The paint helps to distinguish between skin, blue armor straps (unlike the active camo arbiter which is difficult to see) and golden armor plates. The energy sword which is a mottle of light blues and whites.
The 7.25-inch wide by 3.75-inch deep base is just as textured as the figure. Unfortanantly the color reminds me of dried mud. The Arbiter stands on the base by way of two pegs which are difficult to insert into his feet, but once on there he stays put.
Overall this figure is an accurate portrayal of the Halo 3 Arbiter.

(More customer reviews)I received this figure through another store. Love the figure, she is huge and painted wonderfully. Only problem I had was with the base she stands on. In all the pictures they show her on a yellow brick base, the 12" does not come with that base. It actually comes with a huge black circle base (flat) and is just painted with "land of oz" on it. Just thought people would like to know that. Highly misleading, but oh well.
