(More customer reviews)I am first of all going to say that this is the best arbiter figure ever but just to let you know he does not come with the carbine rifle and is a pain when trying to put the energy sword in his right hand. I'm going to tell you now that the energy sword can be put in the left hand as well if you get it in the right position. I do recomend this figure to any halo collection and any halo fan.

Halo 3 Legendary Collection - Arbiter (Colors may vary) Review

This Arbiter figure stands 6.5 inches tall. This is figures format is statue. Meaning there are no movable parts. The pose is well chosen. The Arbiter is in an attack stance while holding an energy sword.
The design is highly detailed and acurate. I was impressed at the level of details observed in the armor and skin texturing. The paint helps to distinguish between skin, blue armor straps (unlike the active camo arbiter which is difficult to see) and golden armor plates. The energy sword which is a mottle of light blues and whites.
The 7.25-inch wide by 3.75-inch deep base is just as textured as the figure. Unfortanantly the color reminds me of dried mud. The Arbiter stands on the base by way of two pegs which are difficult to insert into his feet, but once on there he stays put.
Overall this figure is an accurate portrayal of the Halo 3 Arbiter.

(More customer reviews)Disclaimer: My review for this toy is based on a retail purchase. Amazon's pre-order was delayed so I cancelled and bought a second one at retail, both were identical in Pros and Cons.
Pros: It's a 15" long, 8" tall Warthog IFV, straight from the game, and it will fit most TMP Halo figures (although the earlier Halo3 figures may look a little small in this beast). The figures fit in the seats just fine and can easily hold the steering wheel and shifter. The rear machinegun has nothing to brace the gunner's feet, only the gun handles to hold him/her in place.
Unlike the more 'fragile' ATV Mongoose by TMP, this Warthog is built of sturdier plastics and made to last. Definitely more a toy than a model. Have fun beating this up indoors or outdoors. Clear windshield, rubber tires, and lots of accurately sculpted details. A very clean paint job with no bleeding or smudging of paint, in solid greens and greys (UNSC symbols on the driver's side) and some "worn" texture for metal areas and the tires.
Cons: For the price the only features are: spinning wheels, turning steering wheel, and a rear machinegun that raises and rotates 360 degrees. For what it is, the toy is fine, but some extra "play features" might have knocked this out of the park. A working winch would have been really nice.
Also, the "suspension" is accurate to the game with 4 separate struts (1 per wheel) and has a little flexible give so this is great for a little "bounce" while rolling along. However, the rear tires are a little too close to the chassis, so if you push from the back of the vehicle there's so little clearance that the rear tires tend to rub up against the fenders and if the treads catch they stop forward motion altogether. This problem may vary from toy to toy, and is the only obvious detraction I found, but it really should be fixed with any future re-releases. Toy customizers may feel ambitious about fixing this themselves, or go further and add lights, etc.

(More customer reviews)This is one of the three figures in the Halo 3 Legendary Collection. That said the Arbiter is my favorite character from the Halo games. I just love the way the elites were designed. The way they walk is just amazing.
This figure features the Arbiter that is being actively camouflaged. Meaning the Arbiter is transparent there is no paint on the actual figure, but the texturing is really well done. I was impressed by the detail used to distinguish the differences between skin and armor. Even the base is impressive texture wise. The base is the only part that was painted. The color gives it the appearance of hardened mud. Other than that it looks good.
There are no movable parts. You can't change his stance, move fingers, or anything similar without breaking it. This is definitely not recommended as a toy for a child. The Arbiter's position is that of a semi-crouch. Almost like he's about to leap down upon his target from above. He's holding an energy sword in his left hand. While his right hand is open as if ready to grab ahold of something.
Overall this is an excellent figure if you want to have something to put on your desk, bookshelf, or just to display. Not a good toy for a child.
