Batman Family Multi-Part Statue: Part 3: Batwoman and Commissioner Gordon Review

(More customer reviews)This exquisitely produced statue is Part 3 of the Batman Family ensemble, which features Commissioner Gordon and its latest member, the new Batwoman. Also included here is the upper half of Batman (with cape). Once the other two interlocking pieces (# 1 - Nightwing & Huntress) and (# 2 - Catwoman & Robin) are put together, then you will have the legendary Dark Knight, with his cape extended, standing behind his extended family.
Overall, the promotional photos are dead on as to the product you will receive upon purchase. I highly recommend this statue to Batman fans (ages 12 and up).
Rating: 10/10 (Outstanding)
P.S. It is still possible to prop Batman's upper half up behind Gordon & Batwoman. I would suggest adding perhaps a black fabric or cardboard backdrop to cover up Batman's missing legs; still, the final result should look great!

The very detailed work that went into this is flawless, right down to the stitching on her costume. I could not have found a more perfect addition to my wall of fame for Wonder Woman.

Infinite Crisis Series 2: Wonder Woman Action Figure Review

(More customer reviews)This figure of Wonder Woman is one of worst figures in my possession. She actually looks better without the cape, but then you realize that either she has a severe case of scoliosis or that one leg is really longer than the other.
She's very hard to balance - it's not like the package comes with a spinal support column - and is easier to balance with the cape - whose trailing edge acts like a third leg - than without.
The peg in the stand helps, but - get this - because she's so unbalanced - and tips over when you're not looking - my figure actually broke the peg - which is now stuck, irretreviably, inside her foot.
Articulation is poor. I don't know why they even bothered trying to articulate her head when her hair prevents movement. She can grasp the sword that she comes with - you can unsheath the sword - because her hands are interchangeable - just pop-out-and-pop-in the hand of your choice
Don't buy this, wait for the next Wonder Woman series based upon the Amazon Wars if you really want to have a Wonder Woman figurine - that might be better.

Female characters are often the most sought after by collectors, so the idea of creating a series which reinvents the female characters of the DC Comics universe in the style of Japanese anime is brilliant. The statues are all beautifully sculpted and imaginatively reinvented, blending two iconic forms of entertainment.
The Donna Troy Figure may not be the most popular of the figures, probably because the character is not as well known, but it's one of the most exciting in terms of the way the character was re-styled and reinvented for the series. The Figure combines Donna Troy's original "Wonder Girl" outfit with her later "Troia" outfit, and then throws in a healthy dose of anime pizazz.

(More customer reviews)This action figure is really amazing. Whether you're a fan of the Green Lantern Blackest Night Series or of the flash this is a definite must. Ok positives and negatives positives: the paint job and detail is amazing its just incredible how amazing they are and how the paint shines on this figure DC really took there time on designing it. the figure is more poseable then most from the series. the arms can move out right from the body the elbows and knees both bend and the legs dont move to the left or right when moved forward or back like the green lantern figures. downside is the figure is still a little stiff so i wouldnt get it for the younger kids like under 8 or 10. Overall it is another part of the series so like all the other more for collecting then playing but if your child takes care of his or her toys and doesnt break many then theyll probably be ok with this one. So either way whatever you buy it for enjoy it its really awesome and i dont really think anyone will be unhappy with it.

(More customer reviews)It is not possible to overstate how awesome this figurine is. She is incredibly sexy, the least of which has to do with how powerful she looks. I mean, she's standing there, casually holding an giant axe and the head of Medusa. Her hair can be moved to point up or down, but imo looks best flying upwards. The axe and Medusa's head are removable; the end of the axe has a little bobble which comes off (and is easy to lose) so you can slip it into her hand. I did not know that at first and carefully forced the thing into her hand, but I would not recommend doing so. There is a strong possiblity of breaking her, so just be safe and pull the bobble off.

Although an iconic character, Catwoman's outfit has varied over the years, which gives the creators of the Ame Comi series the opportunity to explore different varients of her look. The second Catwoman figure was clearly inspired by the outfit Catwoman wore in the comics in the 70's and 80's, which included a cape, purple breach cloth, and long hair. This figure gives her a wilder, more barbaric look than the more "pin-up" style explored in the first Catwoman figure.

(More customer reviews)These sculpts on Alex Ross's artwork from Justice are amazing!! Beautiful paint deco color schemes as well. Classic DC in rarest form. No batarang for Batman, which is a minus, but even more bothersome is the limited posability of GL's right arm. He holds his ring up in a fist in a range of about 45 degrees. That's all you can do with it. But since these figures are pretty much statues with a little added bonus of having some articulation, I can deal with it. Other than that... I'm very satisfied. Can't wait to complete the collection!

The statues are all beautifully sculpted and imaginatively reinvented, blending two iconic forms of entertainment.
Since Wonder Woman is the most iconic of all DC's female characters, it was important not to go too far in reinventing her look. Instead, they took her signature costume and expanded it into a more elaborate, amazon warrior look, complete with sword and shield. Very nicely done.

(More customer reviews)These are not an item that should be rated. They are just small figures that the kids put into vehicles such as a Batmobile to fill a space, and so it looks like someone is actually in the vehicle. The figures are accessories and as such they are not really played with.
