(More customer reviews)This is a very well made Tonner doll, but it is different than the jean clad version. This Edward is very good looking but not as pale as the other one and his jaw line is not as sharp. Painted Eyes are a little larger and the hair line is not as angular. The lips a bit fuller and there is a slight sheen to the face. He is handsome but not as "Vampire Looking" as the other Edward. Just my observation, but I love them both! You won't be disappointed.

Margaret Hamilton As The Wicked Witch, Wizard of Oz by Tonner Dolls Review

(More customer reviews)Tonner really captured actress Margaret Hamilton (the actress who portrayed the Wicked Witch in 1939's The Wizard of Oz), and since I'm a movie-lover, I view this as a vast improvement over the previous doll that had more of a resemblance to a green Barbie than a Wicked Witch. Still, the costume still has a few touches of "bling" that do not seem faithful to the original film character, such as dangling beads on her purse. And for the nitpickers (of which I can be), the broom is somewhat off from the movie version as well. It would have been great for an hourglass to be included with this set, but I am sure that would have bumped the price point up even higher than it already is. As with most of Tonner's dolls, this one is not for play by the very young with all of the small pieces and fragile nature of the clothes/props.

(More customer reviews)I'm a movie purist, so I was happy to see that Tonner revisited Glinda and created a new sculpt that looks like Billie Burke (the actress that portrayed Glinda in the 1939 The Wizard of Oz movie), rather than the previous version which just looked like a typical Tonner doll. The costume is gorgeous and extremely detailed; thumbs up on this one! Needless to say, with the detailing, fragile wand, hat, and the price of this doll (gulp), this is a collectible doll, not one for the very young to play with and maul. It's still a little surprising that a doll of this price and caliber doesn't come with a Certificate of Authenticity or any other accompanying paperwork.
