(More customer reviews)truth be told this really simplifies an iron man costume. its very thin plastic like u see in cheap half mask costumes but this has a front and back that velcro dot (in 4 places) together to form a helmet. now mine fit pretty tight and can easily be bondo'd or glued together for a decently almost seemless fit. the stock paints right off are very shiny and metallic but very plasticy, i'd recomend a repaint. the eye shields are nice and foam padding is included, but a great solution to an iron man costume issue, or a great easily modded helmet to get u somethin even better. its not a high quality item, but at under 30 bucks i didn't expect a replica either, this is NOT one piece, so if ur lookin for one piece keep lookin. im 6'2 205lbs and this helmet will sorta fit me w/ out looking oversized, so if ur smaller than me this will be huge. honestly disguise just keeps pumpin out great stuff at affordable prices, im much happier w/ my captain america vinyl full mask from them but this one def does the job i need done right now. i'd recommend to anyone looking for a full iron man helmet, and even to those building their own armor im sure u can use this for a mold.

(More customer reviews)Well, although this unit it a tad on the expensive side, if I can make it work, it will be well worth the investment price. I hope that my old bus of a car can make it up to 88 miles per hour, a lot will be riding on this.
This plan is simple, put a pile of all my high tech software and hardware and electronic stuff into my trunk and go back to about 1970. I will then register all these patents and trade names. Hah! I'll then take all these leading techno companies to court for copying all of 'my' inventions.
Of course this may be a long expensive process, so instead, I may just empty my bank account buy gold and then go to the past with the gold and buy up the town instead. Can't lose with this one!

(More customer reviews)The biggest issue I have had with the Arc was to get the poor thing functioning. Turns out that the springs are really touchy and need to be firmly pressed against the electrodes inside the baseplate. For some reason Duracells do not like working in the arc so use a different brand. The case is plexiglass, forgivable considering shipping risks. However, the biggest issue I have had other than getting the thing to work was the stand itself. The metal base does not screw in securely so I had to improvise using superglue and then screwing it in. The "Proof Tony Stark has a heart" Can be screwed off quite easily, making the possibilities of using this as a costume prop or even just having the Arc itself much more entertaining. The front end itself also screws off which allows for troubleshooting of any potential LED issues you might encounter.
If you want a good movie replica then this is the item for you.

The Flash vs. Gorilla Grodd Mini Statue Review

The box came in mint condition, not a single wear and tear from delivery, and the statue itself is perfect - the painting, the styling, the size. It's everything I expected. Amazon does it again for me. Thumbs up to them too.
This statue is JUST like the original statue but you can place it on your desk without being obtrusive. I have several larger DC versus statue, and they have to be shelved because of their size. This is perfect. Extra pluses on the size. I hope DC continues making more because, after getting this mini statue, I want to get the rest. I know for sure that there will be a Green Lantern vs Sinestro mini statue in the near future. I hope Amazon carries this one too.
Get this. You won't regret it. I kind of want to put this on a lazy susan because this looks good from multiple angles.
BTW It's not a kids toy. The entire thing is made of porcelin or resin (there's no plastic), so you need to handle the statue with fair caution. It's really durable for it's size but not rugged like a real toy.
One more thing, the little pegs on Flash's feet is kind of troublesome to put into the holes. They are really small. Unlike the larger DC versus statues (which are a breeze to put in), this one takes a skilled hand. Well, you just have to put it in once, so it's not a big deal.UPDATE: I changed the score from 5 to 4 because I found a rather minor (but annoying) paint flaw on the Flash part of the statue. Kind of like a few dead pixels right in the middle of the monitor. Flash's ear pieces weren't painted fully. It's obvious from the sides or at slight angles but hidden when looking straight on. Will post pictures when I have time. Honestly, it's not worth sending it back because no hand painted statues are ever rarely perfect.

Hot Wheels Virtual Loop Track Set Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this toy for a 5 year old boy and he absolutely loves it. I think it requires a bit of supervision at first because of the "virtual loop" thing swinging around. You press a button for the car to release. It shoots through the barrel and releases a switch that causes the arm thing to swing around (literally whacking around real fast), then shooting the car into a basket. If you have someone looking at the red barrel too close during a release, it can whack them in the head. Just have the kid be aware that people can be injured if they are not careful. Once they get the hang of it, they will be careful and will have a lot of fun.
Installation was difficult because I could not snap the arm into the tower thing without feeling like I was going to break it. What you have to force the pieces in together and then force it to make a full 360-degree swing (do it slowly). You'll hear a few snaps, but that means it releases the arm. I don't know why the factory doesn't do that for us? If only the instructions said that too.
It's a cool contraption that even I had fun with it a bit.

(More customer reviews)Just received this figure and I find it very cool. Very poseable and detailed. I wish the two skulls on the stand would have been items that can be attached and detached. Instead they just lay in the holes that are in the stand, any movement and they slide off. Other than that, the actual figure is truly a nice collectible...not a toy, though, and durability would be questionable if used as toy, hence the lower scoring on the education and durable category. The perfect addition to anyone collecting Terminator Items.
One word of advise. Don't waste your money on the T-700 Diorama, this is the one where half of a Terminator is on the machine being built. I bought it and it felt very cheap, in my opinion, not worth $80.00. Buyer beware on that collectible.

From any angle the figure looks great and is posed in a peak action stance that really looks like it might move at any moment. The size is large and imposing. When I saw all the Narnia figures on display in the Weta Workshop booth at ComicCon before the film's release, this is the one that jumped out at me. I would recommend this figure to any collector of fiction statuary. If you are a fan of the Narnia movies, this is a must=have!

(More customer reviews)Don't laugh - my 8 month old son wore this costume for Halloween this year. Granted, he's a hefty guy - all I had to do was cut off the length in the arms and legs, and it was a perfect fit.
It look like the muscle pads were just sewn inside the standard sized costume. This (obviously) takes up a lot of the interior room, making the arm holes, in particular, quite small. Would it stretch on a bigger kid, and just look even more like bulging muscles? Perhaps... Just calling it like I see it.

Iron Man 2008 Movie Child Costume Review

(More customer reviews)Overall, I'm not impressed with the quality of this costume. So, I will attempt to give you the details that aren't described here by Amazon, so that you can make a more informed decision as to whether or not to purchase this costume.
The fabric is thin, and the details are simply printed on the fabric. There are no embellishments, no padding in the chest ("muscles"). It is a one-piece jumpsuit. For those who live in cold climates, consider that your child will need to wear something under it to be comfortable in the evening, because the fabric is so thin.
As for the size, I'd say it's pretty "true." I got a 4-6 (small) for my son who typically wears a 5. It's a very good fit, with enough room to fit sweats underneath.
The mask is flimsy, as others have mentioned. One reviewer said that it's translucent. True, you can see through it, but only dark/light (like seeing through a foggy shower door). Your child will need to rely on the eye slits to truly see where he/she is going. I question how well my son can see out of it, since he would put it up to walk around the house when he tried it on.
All that said, my son loves it! If your child is like mine, he/she will wear the costume often, just for dress up. If this describes your child, it's worth the money.
If this isn't your child (ie: it's a Halloween-only costume), my opinion is that it's kind of a lot to spend, considering the cheap quality of this particular version of the costume.

He loved it right away but within 3 minutes the styrofoam block used to hold the mask away from his eyes fell off, making the mask unwearable. I "jimmied" it as much as possible and was able to save the Halloween parade. I think they should make the mask bit more wearable without the need of glued on items.

(More customer reviews)This costume has a fabric that is pretty lightweight, but so far (after two months) it has held up remarkably well. That it is lightweight means my son can wear the cape and run around the house and yard even when it is sunny and warm. The mask is heavier rubber-type material like the belt. I recommend buying a little larger than you think you need. All costumes run small and no harm is done if it is a little too big. For Trick-or-Treating we'll be able to layer a big sweatshirt under the costume.
I may buy more super hero dress-ups/costumes and have a theme party. Girls get to do the fun princess stuff, tea parties,and such that this is a great way to have a 'boy' dress-up party.
