13" T-700 Life Size Bust Review

(More customer reviews)The T-700 is probably my favorite looking version. Its skull is exactly the same as T-800 but, with some minor differences. Darker metal look & not smooth, metal colored teeth, slightly more sharp angles. To me this makes it more menacing. Looks more evil instead of a more rounded chrome-tire rim look with dentures shuved in. Don't get me wrong...I love T-800 but, T-700 just looks more menacing/evil. Plus it would make sense to have darker metal on battlefield to at least have some camo at night, instead of extremely shiney. Could get a lot closer to humans. All still have glowing eyes though.
SideShows T-700 bust looks 10 times better in person. Very detailed-even tiny tiny details. Another difference between their T-800...T-800 bust you can remove CPU. T-700 you can not. Which I would probably only do once anyway. Paint job is amazing, it looks like actual metal. T-700 is also a lot cheaper to get. Eyes light up and when you turn it off - the eyes look like how in film when they "die". All-in-all SideShow's T-700 is an amazingly evil/beautiful detailed piece!

X-Men Bowen Designs Cable Mini-Bust Review

Sculpt is excellent. Love the metallic arm as well as the fine detailing of his face, including the headset.
Re the paint job--the shade of blue on his outfit is a bit lighter than the picture on amazon.com, but that is not a complaint.
Note: the gun is HUGE!
Also, VERY COOL box art.
A must-have for any fan of Cable.

Marvel Milestones Daredevil #182 Statue Review

(More customer reviews)I can't really give any educational value to a statue, nor durability as I'm pretty sure this one will break if dropped from much higher than 5 inches, not that Imma try.
Anyway, this is a pretty good version of the cover. I can't say I've seen Matt Murdock's unmasked, unhindered eyes so much, but I kind of thought they'd be slightly colored or blank... they aren't, but this statue is pretty freakin' sweet.
You can find it for under 100, especially in this economy, and while the statue is more realistically proportioned than Miller's art... it's definitely a pretty statue. Any self respecting DD fan should own this one.

The questions are relatively easy, but if you're playing with other people, this is part of the fun, as you race to see who can shout out the answer first. The DVD game modes are diverse and interesting, including clips, comic book covers, and other games based on either pictures or words (fill-in-the blank, scramble, etc.)
If you enjoy Scene It! (basically Trivial Pursuit with a DVD), then you'll like this game as well, as it is similar to other games in the franchise.

Mega Bloks UNSC Arctic Wolverine Review

(More customer reviews)My son enjoys the Halo game more than anything else. Naturally this toy would hit his sweet spot. It is my first experience with Mega Blocks and I have to say its quality is pretty good, even comparable to LEGO. In fact, I like Mega Block's instruction manual better than LEGO's. It seems LEGO's instruction manual requires more interpretation than Mega Blocks. This Mega Blocks' manual indicates which pieces are required and how many you need for each steps while LEGO just illustrates the built step. Anyway, my son has been playing with this and it is holding up pretty well. As expected, occasional pieces get knocked off but nothing that can't be put back on easily. At $11.99 with FS, can't beat this deal!

And through imagination the teacher can encourage a fourth or fifth grade student to try his skills in creative writing. Anything can be considered educational if the teacher uses a work of art to enhanse a lesson.
As a collectible work of art THIS WOLVERINE STATUE BY KOTOBUKIA IS GREAT. I love this statue that Kotobukie's artisans have created. The price could be considered a little high, however for its size, and workmanship it is well worth the cost.

Wolverine X-Force Fine Art SDCC Exclusive Bust - Autographed by Junnosuke Abe Review

(More customer reviews)The first two Wolverine busts from Kotobukiya didn't really catch my eye, but this one did thanks to the costume and the more dynamic sculpt. For the most part, I was pleased with the end product. The sculpt really is miles above the previous two, and it looks pretty cool from any angle. The facial region is a little too sleek and anime-influenced for my liking, but that's about the only complaint I have. The build quality is also nice. Koto seems to use a heavier material for these busts than they do for their Fine Arts statues. I'm not sure if it's cast in polystone, but it's definitely stronger than PVC. The claws are actual metal, which eliminates the problem of flimsy claws most Wolverine statues and figures have. The bust is also bigger than the ones you generally see from companies like Bowen and DC Direct. In the case of those latter companies, I'm usually turned away from their busts because they're just too tiny - not really any larger than your average action figure.
The only real drawback to this bust is that the paint work could be better, The shading on the skin is overdone, making Wolverine look like he spent too much time in the tanning booth. The silver regions of the costume are also too much of a metallic and shiny silver, whereas the source material usually depicts it as a darker gray. It is supposed to be a stealthy costume, after all. As usual, the paint flaws aren't really apparent in Koto's promotional photos. If possible, I'd recommend getting a look at the piece in real life beforehand, or at least hunt down some unofficial pics.
In the end, the statue can be displayed from any angle, so the drawbacks in the paint application can be dealt with to some extent by careful placement. It's just a shame Koto couldn't have delivered more in that area. This is a great bust held back a bit by a few quirks.

Of course, Sabertooth's arm fell off when we took him out of the package. Luckily, it snaps back on. If it's a collector edition, then too bad for other colloectors. My son loves playing with both toys.

Although he was very excited to get this particular super hero costume, after wearing it for only a few hours the stitching at the neck and waste started to come undone. That was very disappointing since the costume was [...] + S&H. Also the screen print is only on the front of the costume and the back is just yellow which looks really cheap. Overall he loved the costume but it doesn't seem worth the money.

He is 6 so we needed to start to shy away from the sweet and cuddly ones if he wants to take them places with him. I ordered this for his birthday as a more 'big kid' stuffed animal. He loves it. It is a great size for taking places and soft enough to sleep with. He has Wolverine as well as Yoda and whenever he takes them places or friends see them he gets lots of compliments from other kids. It is also nice that these are small since it is a better option for taking places than larger stuffed toys like Build A Bear.
