(More customer reviews)Well its the first time I have Bought from Diamond Select and overall I am very pleased with the product. The base is nice and heavy and bears the logo scar and I have to say is nicely done in its design and finish. The raider itself looks great on display and visually looks the part in shape and design, quite a menacing feel to it. The face of the raider is spot on,although the eye is all red which is not a problem for me as it really makes it stand out more.The reverse booster rockets are nicely done.The wings nice and fine. Overall I would say the detail is good but not Brilliant, I do feel that they could have done a better job with the battle damage,especially on the wing side and tip, as it is all of the same casting, I feel they could have separated the detail here to make it stand out more. As for the box again nicely done. Would I buy another of their products I would have to say yes.Personally I have given this a five as I am a big fan of the show, in between a 4-5 would be more accurate of the product.

The Exclusive Cylon Raider Scar Statue measures 8a? tall x 7a? wide x 11a? long, and is accompanied by a nameplate display belt. Defined by a palpable sense of deliberation and comparative strategic intricacies, Scar favored ambush techniques along with hit-and-run and divide-and conquer tactics.

Battlestar Galactica: Razor: Classic Cylon Raider Statue Review

(More customer reviews)Well the item comes in a very nice colourfull, sturdy box, with the logo Battlestar Gallactica RAZOR, and a picture of the contents on the front.The sides of the box show the logo of Pegasus,very nice in my opinion. The Raider itself is nicely done and looks the part, with good crisp detail on the whole to both top, and the underside of the ship. The cannons look the part with reasonble detail and although there is nothing wrong with them I feel they could have been done a bit better, but maybe thats me being over critical.There is a small degree of weathering to the ship which I feel could have been extended to the cockpit which is too much of a shiny black. To be critical if you hold the Raider to the light there are a few tiny casting flaws these however are really not that noticable but are there. The ship itself makes a nice visual display piece and captures the look of the heavy raider. The stand that it sits on is well designed and looks the part, and I feel fits in with the cylon image.In all a nice item that I feel could be made better by anyone who cared to add a bit more weathering highlights but again maybe thats just me not wanting a pristine looking vessel . The main reason I gave this 4 out of the five stars is mainly down to the pristine look of the ship which makes it a bit toy like, but some people prefer them that way. This now stands alonside my cylon raider and I have to say the two make great display pieces. Im sure in time I will appreciate them more and more.

Battlestar Galactica: Tigh and Gaeta Action Figure Two-Pack Review

Gaeta got turned into a Caucasian -- maybe because the factory just didn't want to bother with getting his skin tone correct, maybe it would have cost a few more cents to have the plastic the right color, who knows. Getting Galactica figures has been such a challenge (due to many, many delays) that at this point we just have to be grateful that they exist at all. Tigh is the highlight of this 2-pack -- and this 2-pack is the only way to get Tigh, since plans to release Tigh on his own (a version without his eyepatch) have apparently been scrubbed.

(More customer reviews)I went back and forth over whether to purchase this. I have the solid metal 5 inch Gort, very cool, as well as the wind up Gort so I figured...maybe...we'll see.
Let me explain. I wasn't looking to accumulate Gort's...I just saw them over time and liked 'em...so, I got 'em. I do love the 50's sci-fi genre. Reminds me of when I used to watch the "4 o'clock movie" after school in the mid 70's. I now have most of them on DVD. "The Day the Earth Stood Still", "Earth vs The Flying Saucers", just to name a few...can't beat 'em...great stuff!
Well, I bought this Gort. It's BIG! (keep that in mind when thinking of where you're going to put it). Overall...it's growing on me (no pun intended) but, you really have to think about whether you want to spend the money for this one...not to mention the shipping. I priced it on at least a half dozen sites just to see if this one was "really out there" and the prices were all the same. So, unless you find someone on eBay selling one cheaper...it is what it is. By the way, neither of the sites I visited mentioned what it was made of. I figured it was resin and, unless I'm mistaken, it is. It's not heavy at all.
For what it's worth, here's my take on this. The product is cool. The price is a joke. But, we all like different things. So, if you have a couple of extra bucks just eating a hole in your pocket for this one...go for it. I look at it this way, if it makes you happy and you can spare the bucks...have a blast!
It IS pretty cool... once you get beyond the sticker shock.

Gigantic Frankenstein Big Frankie by Moebius Models Review

(More customer reviews)I wanted this when I was a kid but it was too expensive. The normal sized monster models were only around $1.50 and Big Frankie was about $7.00. So, the rich kids were the only ones that seemed to have one. That was the 60's and finally Gigantic Frankenstein is unleashed again. Of course, now it's around a hundred bucks but worth every penny. Funky and detailed...just waiting for the artist's glue and brush. Big Frankie has lots of personality and makes a good friend through tough times. I got two!

I was able to preform several complex operations and go great distances with this device. I was able to confirm several things that I had questions about and also deny many more that I felt otherwise about. Distance being the primary.
Just be careful, as the return can be a little bumpy and parallel contamination is a risk that you'll have to seriously consider and prepare for.

(More customer reviews)Overall this a very nice, although I find there is a lack of detail, it's a little too plain, it's nice though, the base it self weighs more then the statue. No moving parts at all, not even a head tilt, I was disappointed in that.
And mine the feet don't sit flush with the base like in the picture, there is a small gap under its feet making it look a little cheap.
If you like BSG I'd say go for it.
And this is limited to 1000 made, I think mine is #976, so that should increase its value significantly over time for anyone purchasing one.
