It also helps you to get to know other people in a deep way. One might think it's similar to the Zobmondo would you rather game but it's actually very different as there aren't any disgusting gross questions. Instead all the questions are easy to identify with and really get people into lengthy discussions. And most of the questions are hilarious as well. It's the best party game I've played in ages. I highly recommend it.

As the millennium unfolds, it is evident that people are searching for more depth and meaning in their lives. This is a fantasy game about priorities that makes us question our priorities or values in life having to do with love, money, relationships, spirituality and more.
Extremely provocative questions are asked based on fantasy choices. Using chips, the other players place bets on how they believe a player would respond. The player who most often correctly predicts the other players' responses wins. The losing players, though, can argue and attempt to persuade another player to change his/her mind which makes the game even more revealing and very entertaining. Electronic Guesstures Review

(More customer reviews)First, let me say I am a huge fan of the original Guesstures. Game play was fast, frenzied, and just a lot of fun. I thought it was a good idea to make an electronic version of the game, so I went ahead and purchased this.
The concept is still the same - it's really a fast paced version of Charades.
Game play is fairly simple. A word shows up on the screen and you must act it out. If your team is able to guess the word, you push the button and score a point for your team. Push the button again, and another word will show up. Act this word out and try to get your team to guess the word. This continues until time runs out, and the goal is to act out as many words as you can in 30 seconds.
The timer is built in and the game keeps score automatically. There's even an option to contest points if you believe the opposing team was cheating. These are all good things.
The key difference between the electronic and original version is how it handles the "final word." In the old version of the game, if you couldn't act out the last few words, you just miss out on those points. There was no penalty. In this version, your team must guess the final word and you must hit the "completed" button before the timer runs out. If you are in the middle of acting out a word before the timer runs out, you gain ZERO points for that turn. So even if you successfully act out two other words, if the timer runs out in the middle of your third word, you get no points.
The problem with this method is that after your team guesses a word, you must decide if you want the next word to show up or if you want to stop playing and just let the timer run out. Words are of varying difficulty so it's a fairly big gamble to keep going. What ends up happening is people will act out one or two words very quickly and still have about 15 seconds left on the clock. Because of the fear that a difficult word will show up and that all points for the round will be lost, people choose to just stop acting. This leads to about 10-15 seconds of dead time where people wait for the timer to run out. The dead time is annoying because no one is doing anything and the timer just keeps clicking away.
If you can find the original version of the game, I recommend purchasing that. If you can't find it, this version will be fine. Just be prepared for a bit of frustration or dead time.

There are 18 activities to choose from, including charades, word puzzles and trivia. It's pretty educational, as far as board games go. Who knew that Coconut Milk could be used as blood in a hospital?
Evolution is really fun. It's for all ages, although some activities are harder than others.

Cranium Hoopla Review

(More customer reviews)My significant other and I just love playing Cranium Hoopla. Each game takes about 20 minutes to 1/2 an hour to play and we rarely stop laughing. Players draw illustrated noun cards that must be acted out, drawn, or cleverly described as indicated by the random roll of the die. Depending on the talents (or lack thereof) of the players, it can be quite a hoot. Unlike most two player games, both individuals are working as a team against the clock. This adds to the fun and quells the arguments that can result from competitive gaming. The only negative aspect is that, like Cranium the board game, you go through the deck of cards pretty quickly making for redundant game play. All in all for the price and fun it's highly recommended (and I'm sure an expansion pack or two will be on their way).
A note of caution: I'd recommend this game for high school players and older. A lot of the subject cards contain items that may be unknown to younger players (e.g., "Sigmund Freud", "Nadia Comaneci", "Radio Flyer", etc.).

Hoopla is the outrageously fun game where every second counts, with two or more players rallying together to beat the clock. There are four categories of question cards: Cloodle (drawing, similar to Pictionary), Tongue-Tied (giving alliteration clues to a single word), Soundstage (charades), and Tweener (giving clues in the form "it's bigger than but smaller than," using two objects that imply the answer). If the players manage to work through the requisite number of cards in fifteen minutes, the game is won by all.
This game takes five minutes to learn and just 20 minutes to play. Includes: 280 Hoopla cards, a countdown timer, a ten-sided Cranium die, and a Hoopla pad and pencil.

Zoombox DVD Entertainment Projector Review

(More customer reviews)I bought Zoombox for my little 4 and 11 year-old daughters. After dinner time, we usually get their DVDs played in their room, and the kids seem to be quite happy with it.
They already had watched those DVDs hundred times so they don't care about quality of projected image. They sometimes don't concentrate on the movies and do other things while the movie is going. BUT the point is that my kids are just happy with the big screen which they can watch whenever they want.
I have a 'real' projector in our living room, but I don't want to use it in kids' room because: (1)it's very delicate and HOT device; (2)DVD player and speaker set should be connected separately; (3)we simply can't afford $400 bulb replacement three times a year; (4)it's too bright to watch for a long time in a small bedroom, especially for kids' eyes.
It uses a typical halogen bulb which can be purchased from any local home improvement store for around $5~7. It consumes less than 50watts per hour. I use it without worrying about maintenance cost, and thanks to the economical fact, this little toy can be utilized in many creative ways which hasn't been reasonable with 'real' projectors. For example, when I have party with friends I sometimes use Zoombox in living room to play concert DVDs or music video clips purchased from Apple iTunes music store as BGM. My 'real' epson projector costs too much to be used in those kind of ways.Regarding its resolution, Zoombox is definitely not for serious movie watchers. You have to make your room dark as possible to get decent picture from it. It doesn't have keystone distortion adjustment function, which means you have to place the unit at the right angle to get completely rectangular picture. So, if you expect home theater, just forget about this toy and spend at least $400 more to buy low-end DLP projectors and another $200 for decent 5.1channel speaker set.
But in the other hand, if you want some extra entertainment in bedrooms after dinner time, or need additional projector for more casual occasions, Zoombox can become affordable and satisfactory solution. I think it's unfair to compare toy to real thing.

Golden Tee Golf Gold Review

The graphics are Nintendo-esque at best, while there is only one course, only one view, and only a few of the features from the real thing. However, the trac ball is touchy but works pretty well and it's still Golden Tee on your own TV. As long as you're not expecting it to be just like the arcade version, you should be happy.

They are very durable, i have dropped them and they are fine, and my little sister watched them interact together in the shower and they got damp all over and they work the same. The world is a cube and its inhabitants are stick people. And these stick people are sticking together in some very fun ways. Single Cube World cubes contain a character and something for that character to play with. Turn the red cube on to see Dodger appear with his ball, which he will dribble, head bobble, or kick. Turn on the yellow cube to see Whip use his rope as a lasso, jump rope, bullwhip, and more.

If you prefer being in the game rather than watching from the sidelines, you can choose to interact with each of these characters via built-in motion sensors. For instance, if you tumble Dodger’s cube over and over, he will roll to each down-facing side with every turn--and may eventually get really angry with you. If you pick up Whip’s cube and shake it, he will fall and flail about. There’s also a good chance he will get physically sick from all the motion.

But things get truly interesting when you connect the two cubes together using the magnetic contacts that are on four sides of each cube. The cubes can be placed side by side, or stacked one on top of the other for interactive enjoyment. While both Dodger and Whip have unique animations, once joined together, they will play with, pester, and even protect each other. For instance, Dodger and Whip can now play catch with Dodger’s ball, or tug-of-war with Whip’s rope.

Other modes of play include music and games. When you turn the sound on, the figures will start dancing. When you start the game mode, you will interact with the stick character and see real-time results. The cube even tracks your high score. After four minutes of no interaction from you, Dodger and Whip will go into sleep mode, complete with animated snoring after they lay down. After another minute of no movement, the cube will shut off to help conserve battery power. When you’re ready to play again, simply press the "on" button for Dodger and Whip to appear.

If you have multiple Cube World sets, you can connect up to 16 cubes in any vertical and/or horizontal configuration to see them all interact together (even if there are more than one of the same character). Since each cube can hold up to four stick figures, this makes for hours of unpredictable and thoroughly entertaining fun. Each cube runs on one CR2032 battery, which is included.

(More customer reviews)This game is easy to learn but hard to master. With the colors, lights, and oral instructions, you are suitably distracted to make it difficult to complete 5 rounds. All of which makes it great fun. Each game consists of 5 timed games (30, 25, 20...10 seconds) so it really only takes 2 minutes (with the opening and interim round changes) to play. This quick turnaround makes it easy to play multiple games in a short timeframe.
The phrases span both classic ("here's a story of a lovely lady") and recent ("oops I did it again") pop culture so everyone in the family can play. The only con I see for the game is that it does not appear to have a volume button so that you can turn it down if you are in a quiet(er) setting and don't want to annoy strangers. Great fun!

There is not much difference between the conrast of the grid and numbers to that of the screen. The inability to read the handheld version makes it a waste of money. I promptly repacked mine and returned it to the store.
Sudoku puzzles are very Fun so I reccomened you skip the handheld version and buy yourself a book!

(More customer reviews)I always liked The Game of Life as a kid and picked up the POTC2 version on a whim, thought it would be a cute joke. Imagine my delight when it turned out to be a fun game!
Players are randomly assigned a captain, one of the characters from the movies, and then the adventure starts. Like the original game you encounter life's ups and downs. Eventually everyone gets a ship and at least one mascot. The goal is to get the most treasure, the best ship and be the first to retire.
Here's the really fun part. Once the pile of treasure is gone, players began stealing from each other. You can even take another player's ship! This element keeps you guessing until the very end as to who will win.
We played three games in a row the first night each one very different. Our players ranged in age from 19 - 49. I would say that some elements of the Pirate theme make this a game more suitable for mature players who can appreciate the humor in "stealing" as part of the game. There are references to other typical pirate behavior that might not be appreciated in some households. We however, were thoroughly delighted and can't wait to play again! Arrgh!

(More customer reviews)I was introduced to this game and had to have it. If you like Apples to Apples or In a Pickle or Bolderdash, you'll love this game. It is a left/right brain game. I particularly love this packaging. We took it on a flight and it was great because it's not noisy and is very easy to put away, or pull out quickly. The plastic box holds it all and closes!
Highly recommend! I hope the manufacturer comes out with an additional set of cards, for when we get to learn them all.
