It also helps you to get to know other people in a deep way. One might think it's similar to the Zobmondo would you rather game but it's actually very different as there aren't any disgusting gross questions. Instead all the questions are easy to identify with and really get people into lengthy discussions. And most of the questions are hilarious as well. It's the best party game I've played in ages. I highly recommend it.

The losing players, though, can argue and attempt to persuade another player to change his/her mind which makes the game even more revealing and very entertaining. (More customer reviews)To begin with, the rules are simple... it takes only a few minutes to get the point across so you can get on with the game.
The main point of the game is to respond on paper to a pickup line read aloud. The responses get shuffled around and everyone has to read a response aloud in their best sexy-voice. The judge decides whose answer was the best and they get points. First person to 10 wins.
It is VERY adaptable: the first time we played, we used the all the pieces-- glasses, kisses, olives, special paper, everything. The second time, we dragged out notebook paper and just passed the answers around no longer keeping score of who was "winning".
We found that this game can be played in two ways (though it is not in the rules): to react positively to the pick up line-- with a pickup line of your own, or to react negatively to the pick up line, thus trying to get rid of the person trying to pick you up. We would agree when we decided to make a round a "Kiss Off" round-- and we would try our best to come up with an answer that would make someone run the other way. It really made the game fun and versatile!
This game is for adults. The dirty answers that naturally come to mind while playing make it inappropriate for people under that age of 18. It can be pretty hilarious trying to read in a sexy-voice to a family member, so keep that in mind-- some families would not find this funny, others would think it is HILARIOUS.

We had an adult game night planned amongst good friends and after we'd been playing the usual games for awhile, Balderdash, Apples to Apples, I decided to show them this new game I had just bought - SEXOPOLY!!After I explained, that it's designed so that each individual can play to their own comfort level, everyone agreed "let's give it a try!!" Our group, admittedly, is a little prudish so that actually made it funnier. A couple people had no problem taking their clothes off rather than paying into the bank. While others were like, "I'll pay." We got a huge laugh when the shyest in our group had to act out the famous scene from When Harry Met Sally. This game could go in many directions from fun with clothes on to, lots of fun with clothes off, but each time will certainly give you a different experience depending on who you have playing with you!! I can't say enough about this game - it's guaranteed to give you experiences you wont forget.

Cranium? Favorites - Letter Line-Up Review

(More customer reviews)After playing Cranium WOW I have become a fan of the entire Cranium realm of games. The biggest problem with WOW is that you need at least four people to play and my wife and I love to play games with just the two of us. Letter Line-up gives us that opportunity. We played it for over an hour just yesterday.
The game itself reminds me of a part of Cranium Hoopla where you have to get someone to guess a card just by using clues that all start with the same letter. The nice thing about this game is that you get six letters to use for clues, but if you can't get those letters to work, then you can roll the six dice on more time. In some ways this is a disadvantage too, because sometimes you don't get the letters you want on the second roll.
My biggest concern with the game is that there are only sixty-five cards and when you play games as much as my wife and I do, you are bound to remember what cards there are in the deck.
Overall, I highly suggest this game.

The one drawback to playing this small, quick-play game is that it is easy to sculpt through all 65 play cards in one short sitting with friends. (More customer reviews)I love pretty much all things cranium so when I came across this I had to get it. I am a singer and think of my self as knowing a good amount of music. I knew most of the songs in this game. The draw back is they aren't very recent songs so unless you have a good music collection that is pre 90s then you may not know them. So it's good for adults and teens with a wide musical palette. Found it easier to do without the use of the Kazoos but they are fun exspecially when you get a player that doesn't know how to use it.

(More customer reviews)If you ever wished that Monopoly was "fixed" this is it. They added two new levels (Which you can chose to use or not.) Different things to build, gas stations, malls, and sky scrapers.
It adds the typical home rule of getting some cash for free parking. Plus the cards travel and stock market are nice and add just the right amount of randomness to the game. (You can order extra cards with more things direct from the manufacturer.)
The kids and I like this game. I'd say its a bit harder than Monopoly and game play takes a bit longer but it has the same elements without just renaming everything to a street in your town. (Like the NameYourself..Monopoly versions floating around.)
Education value: Unless you're raising a Donald Trump Jr., who really wants to encourage monopoly building? Math skills and money handling are taught.

Million Dollar Password 2010 Review

several versions. We really like this one because you have a card with
9 or 10 (we can't figure out WHY they have different numbers of words on
each card...) and you can just use a card and toss it rather than deal with
the viewer which gets harder to see as you get older!! These words are
a bit more challenging too. Great game!! I wish this version had the
old score dial which shows points. We always go from 10 to 5 and then
back up to 10 again as it really gets harder toward the end.

Canoe Key Pace He Grit? Mad Gab is one of the most entertaining and fun talk-out-loud games you’ll even play. Teams square off against their opponents in trying to be the first to 25 points, which are earned by solving word puzzles. The puzzles are mondegreens of small words that, when said together, sound like a phrase, famous person, place, or thing. For example, "Canoe Key Pace He Grit" when pronounced quickly sounds like "Can you keep a secret?"

Talking to yourself might have people looking at you funny any other time, but it’s almost a prerequisite for Mad Gab. Simply reading "Sea Grit Dress Up Ease" may not be enough to solve the puzzle. But once you start sounding it out slow, fast, slurred, or with quick repetitions, you start to hear "secret recipes" and have the answer. But players should be careful, because if they don’t guess correctly before time runs out, then the opposing team has a chance to steal for the point.

The game includes 300 cards featuring 1,200 puzzles with two levels of difficulty. An easy example is "Sand Tack Laws" being Santa Claus, while a hard clue might be "Thigh Sing Gone Thick Ache" (the icing on the cake). A timer, a flipper, labels, a score pad, and instructions are also included.

Balderdash Review

(More customer reviews)I had played Balderdash many years ago in high school. I am now in college and recently I had an urge to buy this game and enjoy it once again. I have a decent number of friends of whom I play many games with on many occasions. Some of our favorites are Apples to Apples Party Box - The Game of Hilarious Comparisons and Cranium. We all have a lot of fun with these party games and have been enjoying them for years. However, I decided to try something new. This was when I remembered Balderdash.
Balderdash is a simple enough game, played with as little as two players (though I would recommend a minimum of four to really enjoy the game). The concept is as follows: A card is picked with one of five categories: Words, Initials, Movie Titles, People, and Laws. Each of these are things no one has ever heard of. Every round, one person reads the word/clue (this is the Dasher) to the others, who then do their best to write down what they think the definition/plot/etc. is. This is where everyone gets creative. You could write down a funny answer, a serious answer, or just anything. The idea is the trick everyone into voting for you. Once everyone writes down their submission, they turn in their little pieces of paper and the Dasher reads everyone's submissions to the group, randomly, with the REAL definition hidden among the rest. Everyone then votes on what they think the real one is. If you trick some people into picking your submission, you get points, which translate to moves. That's it.
The game's fun comes from the wacky submissions and the art of how you write your submissions. It's a game where the fun doesn't come from winning but from the laughs had by all. I've found that the actual definition is even weirder than what people write. People come up with some pretty crazy stuff, too, and if you have some creative friends you can have a really good time.
A complain I have about the game, though, is that it can be a bit short (a full run can last as little as 20-30 minutes) and there are not many slips of paper, as well as the fact that no pencils were included. However, once the paper runs out, you could easily use normal paper. Still, a minor inconvenience.
Don't let this deter you from getting this game, though. It is a very fun game and there are a LOT of clues given with the game to ensure that you will not see a repeat clue for quite some time. With a lot of creative people this game has the potential to be a real big hit. And because there are definitions, there is even a (slight) bit of learning, though this is NOT an educational game and probably shouldn't be treated as such.
Overall, this is a fun game that is best enjoyed with a decent-sized group of creative people. The supply limitations may deter a few, but it really shouldn't. Any problems with supplies can be overcome with standard paper and pencils. Overall, I very much recommend this game.
