(More customer reviews)I bought this puzzle for my 85 year old mom for Christmas. A few weeks later I arrived at her house and she said, "This puzzle is driving me crazy!" I apologized and sat down with her. The lower portion and the sky portion weren't too hard. The snowy mountain is very tough. All the pieces look alike and it's hard to distinguish between the sections of the mountain. If you want a somewhat challenging puzzle choose this. It isn't as hard as some of the ones that are geometric designs; I don't find those fun. It was just more challenging than I thought it would be.

(More customer reviews)this is an excellent starter puzzle for the family with a brightly colored hand painted sunsout butterfly. it shouldn't take the avg. puzzler to solve this one in a few hours to a day. but for a family and young kids type i think it is a little fragile for that. seemed like they made it for the fun to put together then glue to a background like true art. who knows. it is likely that most that would buy a puzzle of a butterfly would enjoy this one greatly both for it's look and the difficulty.

4 stars for FUN!
4 stars overall because there is not enough really wrong with this puzzle to lower it's score. it is sad though that they do not make puzzles more durable these days. just a thought.

The different areas of the puzzle, though very distinguishable when viewed as a whole, are frustratingly similar in their various parts. My daughter and I, and a bevy of friends, have been trying to put it together for weeks now. For those who want a challenge and are tired of the all too easily assembled puzzles out there, this one will prove your mettle as a puzzle person.

I use to put a puzzle together in no time but got away from doing them until lately. After 15 years I did another puzzle I bought off of amazon and now this one. This one is by far the hardest one to put together but there is no doubt now or when I use to buy Springbok puzzles; you will not find a better made puzzle and when finished they are a work of art. If you like a real challenge jump on board and pick up any Sprinkbok puzzle you won't be disappointed.

(More customer reviews)I do prefer my jigsaw puzzles to be more then the 256 piece puzzles my mother used to own. I remember sitting down with Mom and working one or two of those in an afternoon. That will NOT be the case with this puzzle. This has to be the most difficult 1500 pc. puzzle I have ever worked as yet. There were days I would get but 2 or 3 pieces fitted. I for one believe that the harder the puzzle the more the subconscious works on it for me. There are some very slow days and yet other days when I seem to just know what to pick up and it fits.
I have always had a difficult time with colors. I am not colorblind but it seems I am not always sure just what color is what. This particular puzzles difficulty is due to the fact that it is hard to tell the pieces apart as there is not much to differentiate one from another. And therein lies the problem. And yet it is not a 'problem' for me, it just means that I'll be working on this particular puzzle longer then all of the others.
In fact, this 1500 is even more difficult then the few 2000's that I own!
But I definitely recommend this puzzle to anyone who enjoys having that ongoing hobby rather then something you can knock off in a few hours, a day or several days.

(More customer reviews)I used this glue only once so far on a 750 pieces puzzle, I only used 1 coat and it held just fine, I am planning on framing it.
If you look closely one can see brush strokes, but I didn't see anything at the distance in which this puzzle should be looked at to appreciate the whole picture.
This product comes with a lil' brush, really handy and clean.
Overall it does what it should and that is all the matter!
