(More customer reviews)It took me over 3 weeks of cussing, yelling , cheering , screaming and just outright frustration to assemble this badboy. And im still not convinced its perfect. I did the Disney Villans before attempting this one and i must say that the Villans puzzle is much easier. If your like me, and dont mind putting in the Hours upon hours to put this back together, then when its done it is one of the most satisfying puzzle experiences ever. Not for the weak. This one is for the persistent, patient, puzzle worker with WAY TOO MUCH time on thier hands. HAVE FUN! Im a upload a image of the puzzle completed just so no one can Knock me on my review! (More customer reviews)It took me about two-three weeks to finish it. Not much educational, but it helps developing logic.
Pieces match perfectly!
Somewhat had troubles finishing black areas of the puzzle (you have them in every corner of the puzzle).
It would be helpful if there is a larger picture of the puzzle (how it will look completed) - that would help with assembling the forest around the castle.
But overall, this puzzle is manageable, and the quality of the picture and the pieces are amazing.
I highly recommend this puzzle.

(More customer reviews)This is a fun puzzle to work and it looks pretty once it's put together. However, the pieces don't fit snugly together, so if you need to move a group of them, you pretty much have to do it piece by piece. It didn't take very long to put together, maybe a day or so. Basically, you put together each compartment of spices and then build the final picture of the puzzle. It looks nice once it's complete. I plan to use puzzle saver on it and hang it in my kitchen.

As the previous reviewer mentioned, this is not a puzzle you can expect to finish in 2-3 days (unless you are just really good at puzzles). It took her about 4-5 days, but that was with my help. The photomosaic puzzles from Disney are really great and the picture is very clear once the puzzle is completed. I highly recommend this for any fans of Disney and photomosaic puzzles.

They make good family Fun nights. I'm a rather good puzzle builder, so it takes me about a week or two to finish, but on average maybe a month? In a matter of 3 months, my girlfriend and I have completed 6 of them.

(More customer reviews)Easily the most difficult puzzle I've ever had to put together, Dogmania took me several weeks of working for on average a couple hours a day, but I'm happy to say in the end I was able to finish it. Aside from the one dalmation, the puzzle is basically a series of pieces ranging in color from light to dark brown. Many tactics for completion were tried, and all proved helpful and necessary. It really makes you think outside the box for solving methods.
Overall, it was a highly enjoyable puzzle.

(More customer reviews)As other reviewers note, the picture on the box is cropped, which adds to the difficulty of this puzzle. Though the pieces feel nice, they fit together very loosely. This makes it difficult to move around chunks of completed puzzle or to be certain that you fit them correctly. The puzzle pieces are all ordinary squarish shapes, but we would prefer that some of them have some interesting wiggly forms.
This is not a puzzle that we would choose to assemble a second time, and we plan to avoid puzzles by Piatnik in the future. Springbok makes better quality and more interesting ones.

(More customer reviews)I really enjoyed this puzzle. It was easier than expected because it has a white border, not seen on the box or in ads. Still, there is a great variety of piece shapes and you can't tell for sure which pieces are edge pieces. If you work it without reference to the picture (like I did), you will be assembling lots of obects and waiting quite a while to see where they fit in the big picture.

Yes it was difficult to get started, but once we got going, it was done in no time. Now, it's been glued with Mod-Podge (special kind of puzzle glue) and is framed and in my son's nursery. I highly recommend it for families and puzzle lovers.

(More customer reviews)This puzzle is a mosaic of Disney Film stills. The broad, general coloring of the puzzle makes you look at the stills to check if a piece is in the right place. The pieces fit loosely, so you will need to check often. This could be a problem for people with bad eye-sight, or without an overhead light.
Overall, it is a fun and challenging way to do a puzzle. The characters from the stills are distributed about the puzzle, so you can't make a Simba pile and an Aladdin pile and expect to get the puzzle done quickly. I usually finish a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle in 2-3 days. This took me almost a week. (I see that as a good thing.)
I gave four stars for educational value because it is fun to figure out the movie and the scene to the various pictures.

If, like us, you have a masochistic streak, you'll get a buzz from assembling its oddly shaped pieces with seemingly disparate colors and patterns. We thought the resulting picture was worth the effort. Tonight, we'll try to tackle the puzzle's mystery. Wish us luck! Why didn't I give this puzzle a 5? I guess I'm being a bit picky, but I would have loved if some of the pieces had been shaped in figures like horses or swords...
