(More customer reviews)I really wish I could use the words I want to say about this miserable piece of junk, but my Mama taught me not to curse. It has taken two adults who are very handy and have advanced college engineering degrees almost 3 hours to put this thing together after an avid 12 year old paleontologist was reduced to tears over it. It took five people looking all over the pieces with magnifying glasses 20 minutes at least to find the "numbers" and they are only legible on maybe a third of the pieces. The photo that shows where the "numbered" parts go is not accurate because the base is shown in the opposite direction from the only possible way it can fit and the legs are positioned differently. Even when you figure out the order of the parts, many still do not all fit correctly together because of they are not aligned properly when they were made. We finally had to glue the thing together to get it to stay in one piece because the weight of it and even a light breeze makes it come apart. Definitely not something a child or even one adult person could put together by themselves because you need several hands and lots of hand strength to keep what you have assembled together as you add more parts. The "museum" quality part is a complete joke. It's only saving grace is that it looks cool from a distance if you don't look too closely at where the parts don't fit well.
Obviously based on it's fragility this item can only be a "sit around and look at it" piece not meant to be disassembled and reassembled frequently so I don't understand why they made so many separate pieces that won't stay together instead of making it as several large pre-assembled pieces instead. A real shame and a Christmas downer.

Kotobukiya Robocop Edition 209 Model Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I got this one as a gift and I must say that the first thing I thought when I saw it was "This is soo TINY!" and not in a bad way but out of amazement. You could never guess how small this model is by just looking at the photos because it has such a high level of detail that you could easily think it is a life-size ED 209 you're seeing. It has just the right amount of articulation points. the cannon 'arms' swivel up and down, the head-body twists and both legs swing back and forth to pose it as you like. the 'shoulder wings' are also articulated but they do not swing enough as to improve any pose, I would've rather have those articulation points on the knees or at least on the middle toes but it is nothing to cry about. The thing you MUST take into consideration is that if you plan to also buy KOTOBUKIYA ROBOCOP MODEL KIT,they will not look good together since they are not both made at the same scale. Robocop will tower over ED 209 so bad luck for those of us who wanted to re-enact the movie scene. That's the main reason why I haven't bought yet that KOTOBUKIYA ROBOCOP MK 2 MODEL KIT but I know I will nevertheless 'cause those three are officialy Clasic Hollywood Robots and no movie fan should miss the chance to own them.

(More customer reviews)The main feature of this display stand is that it has multiple pieces to attach various Gundam figures produced throughout the years.
The arm of the display is highly adjustable that allow it to "bend" at various angles. The arm can extend itself to twice it's length a few inches short of a foot while still supporting the Gundam. The bases can be connected to multiple ones to create a platform to display an entire collection.

(More customer reviews)This stand is great. It was pretty easy to put together but not that fun like a model kit thought. The stand can hold 1/144 and 1/100 scale models and it came with several different attachments for the top so it can hold all kinds of gundam models that one might have. the stand can be adjusted to several different heights, also the stand can be removed and placed in several diffident positions on the base part I for many more poses. The only problem I have run in to is trying to decide what pose to keep my model in.

Here's Bandai's Action Base -- the perfect display base for your Gundam model kits! Designed to hold Bandai's 1/144- and 1/100-scale kits from their SD Gundam, High Grade, Master Grade, and Real Robot Revolution lines, this display base is a plastic injection snap-fit assembly kit that requires very little work -- cut the parts off the runners, and snap them together! No cement or paint is required. The octagon base and the square part that can be connected to any one of its sides come with cool mechanical detailing and panel lines, plus a total of 10 holes for placing the main stand's support pole to adjust the main stand's height. The support pole has an ingenious locking mechanism that allows it to extend or retract and remain strong enough to hold the main stand in place. The main stand itself can also be extended upwards to pose your kit in a much higher position. The set comes with three different sizes (8mm, 9mm, and 11mm) of U-shaped holders, peg-type holders, and screw-on-type holders (two screws and a nut are included) for attaching the main stand to the crotch of the kit.
