(More customer reviews)I never owned a White Mountain jigsaw puzzle and happy I ordered one. In particular, this subject was fun putting together because of the mix of different colors. Especially challenging are the windows and the content on the shelves of the store. Another aspect, it was a 'painting' and not a 'photo'. The brush strokes lent to understanding how to put the puzzle together, a good hint for a 1000-pieces. I'm a middle to advanced puzzler. It took me four and a half days to put this one together. I like many of the 1,000 piece puzzles, but will look for more pieces, 1500-2000. I hope White Mountain has some, because their puzzles are very nicely constructed, not thin and not too think - just right! TO MAKE ANY PUZZLE A BIGGER CHALLENGE, ASSEMBLE WITHOUT STUDYING THE PICTURE ON THE BOX! Shipping was gr8!

It's larger than the images would lead you to believe. Once its assembled its quite large.
The instructions are VERY GOOD! You cannot go wrong, if you pay attention.
My only real complaint, is still the price, if it were 30.00, it would be a lot more accessible. But with it being 59.99, I can only buy one at the moment, and I would like to have bought a couple more.
One set would stay as the TrackHoe, and then the other one I could build the alternative model, and then with the last one, I could have spare parts to build my own creation.
The Lego pieces are all very High Quality, everything snaps together like a charm. It's amazing to see a toy/model/machine, this well engineered.
I used to love legos, then kinda grew out of em. But now I am getting into Diesel Mechanics(college), and I just wanted to change my thinking, my perspective to some degree. It seems like my creativity has went down a WHOLE lot, compared to when I was younger, and trying to get that back. Trying to get that spark back so to say. To do good at your job, or at your college work, you have to be enthusiastic about it.
So that is what made me purchase this set, and I can honestly say it was well worth the money!
I really look forward to the Track Crane set that Lego is bringing out next year in January. (hopefully it will be in a good value)

(More customer reviews)Very nice jigsaw puzzle to put together. Only because it had 500 pcs., taking me a day to put it together, did I give it 4 stars. I guess I should have gone for N-Castle in 1,000 or more pieces. It's tricky though because some of the pieces, especially the 'sky' pieces, seem to fit, but you're tricked because later on your find where one 'pontoon' fits into the gap could be fitted together by the piece that should have been used. I look at it as part of the challenge! Ravensburger does make a fine puzzle!

(More customer reviews)This is a good game to step up to when Amazing Labyrinth gets easy. Think Plumber Pete with a lot more fun. Each player has 40 second turn to slide the tiles around and complete as many circuits as possible from his defuser to his opponent's fuses. Unused seconds can be banked for the final attempt. An encroachment penalty is there to prevent the simple solution of moving the defuser adjacent to the fuse. Rules are clearly explained; very easy for a child to explain it to another. The board is app. 8.5 inches square. Each tile is 1 inch square. The initial setup involves removing the plastic pieces from the 'trees' and installing them on the game board. The tiles are placed randomly, but the orientation of the tile in it's position is done by matching the triangle in the corner to another triangle on the board. The tiles are plastic with a sticker that has the printed circuit. Fuses are sturdy; one would have to work hard to break off the tips. The divider board is cardboard and will wear easily if care is not taken. Rules brochure is on heavy coated paper. Game set up and storage is simple and well explained.
Spy Wire will be a good one for holiday gatherings as it's fast and the adults will be willing to match their wits against the kids too. We haven't played a lot of games, but so far it seems well balanced in terms of no big advantage of the first player in a turn. Good game.
