(More customer reviews)I never owned a White Mountain jigsaw puzzle and happy I ordered one. In particular, this subject was fun putting together because of the mix of different colors. Especially challenging are the windows and the content on the shelves of the store. Another aspect, it was a 'painting' and not a 'photo'. The brush strokes lent to understanding how to put the puzzle together, a good hint for a 1000-pieces. I'm a middle to advanced puzzler. It took me four and a half days to put this one together. I like many of the 1,000 piece puzzles, but will look for more pieces, 1500-2000. I hope White Mountain has some, because their puzzles are very nicely constructed, not thin and not too think - just right! TO MAKE ANY PUZZLE A BIGGER CHALLENGE, ASSEMBLE WITHOUT STUDYING THE PICTURE ON THE BOX! Shipping was gr8!

(More customer reviews)Very nice jigsaw puzzle to put together. Only because it had 500 pcs., taking me a day to put it together, did I give it 4 stars. I guess I should have gone for N-Castle in 1,000 or more pieces. It's tricky though because some of the pieces, especially the 'sky' pieces, seem to fit, but you're tricked because later on your find where one 'pontoon' fits into the gap could be fitted together by the piece that should have been used. I look at it as part of the challenge! Ravensburger does make a fine puzzle!
