(More customer reviews)This is a real winner. I would recommend this over the micro P-51 for someone who is a beginner or who is just moving up from a three channel plane like the J-3 or Champ. I love my bigger T-28D and the micro is just as good if not better. I think after a flight or two on the reduced rates, even a beginner would find faster and more responsive controller settings a bit easier especially when doing rolls. On slower rates rolls go so slowly the plane tends to lose more altitude than usual in the process. With full rates and some positive aileron expo on my DX6i, the plane flies like a dream. My favorite part is that it takes off in a really straight line, which makes take-offs easier than with my micro P-51 or micro J-3. The Micro T-28 also lands very smoothly and easily as long as you leave some throttle on all the way to the ground. The plane flies inverted better than any of my others. It also flies very nicely at slow speeds. I did have to cut out a bit of the foam from the box so that it would fit back in with the landing gear in place but this only took a minute. This is clearly going to be my new favorite micro, and is going to get a lot of use! What a great plane, especially for a beginning or intermediate pilot. My last three Horizon purchases, the 120SR, 4F4 Wildcat, and this Micro T-28 have all been outstanding products.
