The object of Water Works is to lay down a series of pipe cards in order to create a leak-free pipeline before your opponent does the same. You can hinder your opponents' progress by sabotaging their pipes with leaks or caps, and you must fix any leaks they "spring" on you. It is not an extremely complex game, but it is a lot of fun. Although though the stated age recommendation is 8 to adult, my five-year old beat me with no problem the first time we played. This version comes with a bathtub-shaped discard tray and small metal wrenches you may use to fix leaky pipes. Much nicer than the version I remember as a child.
