(More customer reviews)My son is really into the G1 Transformers and Starscream is one of his favorites. It's hard finding the classic looking Starscream, so I was excited to find it here on Amazon. Similar to the classic model, but the only drawback is that the wings don't fit firmly into the body of the jet. It's almost that the pegs on the wings are a bit too long and leave too much of a gap making it look odd in jet mode. Other than that, it's still a great toy to have.

Transformers Reveltech - 046 Starscream Review

(More customer reviews)I just reviewed my Revoltech 046 Starscream in the mail recently and I can say I'm rather pleased with the product. It's got a really nice level of detail to it and the ability to pose him about (quite arrogantly looking) is a fun feature most TF toys don't have, at least nowhere near this range of it. I defiantly wouldn't buy this figure for a child and from what I can tell it won't stand up to heavy play. However it is perfectly durable enough to stand multiple posing sessions and the exchanging of the hands. The figure is only about five inches tall so don't be surprised when you get it and its on the tiny side.
All in all a great addition to a more adults collection who loved the classic G1 Starscream

This exclusive clear starscream is available only as a premium if the Generations Vol 2 guidebook is purchased and is an amazing looking clear version of the Henkei Classics Starscream. Very limited in its numbers and highly sought after, this is a great looking piece that pays homage to the clear Starscream e-hobby from back in the day.

(More customer reviews)This is a nice accessory to the Masterpiece Starscream. Starscream looks awesome with this kit. The crown and shoulderpads are made of good quality plastic with a nice paintjob. The cape is not that great. It's plastic-like, and does not match the cape in the picture - the color does, but not the fabric. Make your own cape of purple velvet instead.
If you're planning to buy the Takara or Hasbro Masterpiece Starscream, I suggest you buy this as well.

Starcream is priced at $48.00 dollars, which isn't cheap but is much less expensive than paying hundreds of dollars more for the Japanese version. I would not consider purchasing this if you are looking for a toy because Starscream is fragile. This Starscream was meant more as a display piece for adult fans rather than a durable toy. While Starscream is fragile he is a amazing looking figure. Starscream has great paint detail and very nice articulated hands and joints. This Starscream also has the ability to switch his facial expression by doing a quick and simple transformation. Starscream's null-ray cannons do not fire, but they make Starscream look very menacing. Starsrcream's robot mode is very nice but my personal favorite is his jet mode. Starscream looks sharp as the mighty American F-15 Eagle fighter jet. The realism and detail put into Starscream's jet mode is very beautiful. Starscream looks more like a highly detailed fighter jet model than a transformer. Starscream comes with some really nice built in landing gear if you want to display him parked. Hasbro also includes a really nice stand to use to display Starscream in jet mode. You can also use the stand to display Starscream in robot mode as well. Starscream's stand holds his extra missiles and is emblazoned with the purple Decepticon logo. If you are a fan of the original 1980's Decepticons you will like this figure. Please just don't pay more than retail to buy him.
