(More customer reviews)I brought this scarf for my own personal use. I figured that since I live in Canada where winter can be cold, and I'm a big Harry Potter fan it would be perfect for me. Normally anything that is made of wool would drive me insane but my particular scarf is very soft(I even rub my face against it!). I also have the Hufflepuff and Slytherin scarfs and I find the that my Hufflepuff scarf is much more itchy, but that the Slytherin is just as soft as my Ravenclaw one. I find that the length is good, but the scarf may be kind of wide for some. Overall, I think that this is a great item for HP fans, it looks just like the one from the movies after Prisoner of Azkaban (except for the House crest) and will keep you warm if you live in cold places like me.

This wonderful Ravenclaw wool scarf is based on the one in the Harry Potter movies. The scarf also has the Ravenclaw Coat of Arms patch on one end. Makes a great addition to any Harry Potter costume or everyday wear!

20Q Harry Potter Review

(More customer reviews)I saw the commericals for this toy on tv a lot. But I had no desire to have it. Well, my mom gave it to me for Christmas. I love it. I've been playing it for the past two days. The instructions say that the machine will always guess what you are thinking in 20-25 questions. I've only beaten it three times. When I think I am picking something hard it still guesses it. It's very cool. I don't like that inbetween questions, it sometimes comes up with witty things to say. But I love this game. I'm glad my mom got it for me!

Lego Stories and Action Vikings: Viking Fortress Against the Fafnir Dragon (7019) Review

(More customer reviews)This set is composed of five main sub assemblies and the dragon, and should take 4 hours (or more) to complete. It comes with six mini-figures and has a number of operational catapults, an inner keep, and a main gate.
LEGO's integration of Technic parts has never been better than in the last few years, and like all of their recent sets, the number one feeling one gets is one of extreme cleverness. (At one point building this set I said aloud "this is exactly what the Vikings would have done if they had had Technic parts back then.")
As concerns the rest of this series, the ship is similarly awe inspiring and the boat, catapult, and wolf sets make excellent additions to the battlefield.
The only thing one could wish for is an enemy series to pit the Vikings against. Though all of the mythical creatures are well designed and look impressive, it would be nice to array the Viking sets (boats especially) against a competing force, and none of the current sets are a good match.

LeapFrog Leapster? Educational Game: Spider-Man Review

(More customer reviews)Given the other reviews and the age on the box, I was hesitant to get this for my 4 1/2 YO. But he loves Spiderman and he was so happy to get it. This game is too advanced for him, but the hints help him figure things out and he prefers to play this game with me. I give him more hints and take turns with him and he thinks it's great. However, I do think this cartridge would be more appropriate and fun for 6-8 YO.
The game is very well done. I didn't like that all the games are "locked" until the child reads the story. But they only have to read the story once and it is a good story. As they go through the chapters the games open up. There are 5 games. The one where the green goblin surfs though the story and misspells words for the child to find is a little long, but again my 4.5 YO enjoys it, so probably an older child would like it even more. And the 4 other games on the cartridge are really cool. The makers of this game turned spelling into "code breaking", that's cool.
Everything on the cartridge has an attractive, hip, video game like appearance. The Spiderman character looks believable. The voices on the cartridge do not sound like the movie ones, but they still fit the characters nicely. My teen will also sneak peeks at this game occasionally, so I know it passes the "cool" test. Since getting this game my son is starting to spell better - the educational element is definitely there.
Highly recommended!
