(More customer reviews)I opened up this game and played it over Thanksgiving weekend. It was a smash hit. There are three "to do" lists on each card. The chooser (or judge) picks. Here's a sample:
How to make a million
How to fix a flat tire
How to find the perfect mate
The chooser then rolls the special die, which will land on:
Best - give the best advice
Worst - give the worst advice
Kid - give advice a kid might say
Grandma - give advice your Grandma might say
Psychic - the chooser secretly selects one of the other options and everyone turns in a card without knowing. (the chooser might want to write his/her choice on paper, to make things legit)
Wild - the chooser selects an option and tells the others what it is
The chooser then says which of the three lists he/she has chosen, except if the Psychic is rolled. Read above.
Based on this, everyone hands in one of their five advice cards, hoping the chooser selects theirs. Players should take an advice card after each turn to ensure they have five cards. The chooser selects up to five cards. The player whose advice the chooser likes best will move five spaces on the board. Others will move one space less, from four to one space(s). Note that up to eight can play, so if there are more than five choices, some players will not advance on a turn. When you're the chooser, you don't move. The first one to reach the finish wins.
A fun game with simple rules, and everyone is involved on each turn, so there's no sitting around and waiting. Good game for a large group, and you'll have a few laughs along the way from some of the advice players hand in.
