I finally decided he needed a gun that actually shot projectiles, but naturally I wanted it to be safe.This toy has given him (and my husband) hours of fun as they chase imaginary "bad guys" through the yard, shooting off the little discs. Since they're brightly colored, finding them in the grass is a breeze. As I've also learned after one particularly rainy day, mud comes off the discs easily with soap and water.My boys and their toys are quite happy now!

Xploderz XStormer 1000 Review

(More customer reviews)My son and his friends saw this on TV a while back and could not stop bugging me to get him one. We had a hard time finding one so we called the customer service number and they directed us to get one at Target. We got 2 XBlaster and 2 XStormers and some ammo packs and brought it to his friends' birthday party. It was great fun - hours of running around outside and shooting at each other in the backyard.
Growing the ammo was pretty easy and sort of like a mini science project. It's definitely much easier to grow ammo from the ammo depot that comes with the XStormer. You can grow a bag of 500 at a time and it re-loads quickly.
I'm a bit confused about this product link on amazon. it looks like someone bought some in stores and sold it on Amazon. The Stormer was only $24.99 at Target and the Xblaster was $12.99, ammo was $4.99 - most of the time I shop Amazon to hunt for deals but it doesn't look like this is the case.

We are in college but we all still had a lot of fun trying to race the balloons and seeing how high we could get them to go. This is a great time for all ages as I am sure that little kids would love these and even those of us in our 20's enjoyed them.

(More customer reviews)We bought this play bow for our 4 1/2 year old son for Christmas. Dad is a bow hunter and this toy looks and works just like dad's real bow. The price is very reasonable and you can buy additional foam arrows to go along with the two that came in the package. It's reasonably well put together for a plastic toy and it seems to be holding up well. It took about 1/2 a day for our son to figure out how to operate it... But that was good because it gave us all enough time to duck and take cover! He goes out in the back yard to "practice" almost every day. It's a lot of fun for kids especially if dad or an older brother are "real" bow hunters.
