(More customer reviews)I bought this for my daughter's 12th birthday and while I think it has great potential for her to play with. (I haven't give it to her yet).
I opened it up to put batteries in it..and of course make sure it worked and see how it worked.
I was impressed with size and the way it works, lots of options, so I don't think she will get bored to quickly and I see it being a hit at slumber parties, etc.
One thing I think that would make this more appealing would be a card slot or some sort of removable memory so that kids could share their creations by email or on a website with other kids, this would probably jack the price up, but just having images confined to the toy itself seems like it is missing something in these days. Even a standard usb port to be able to transfer to the computer would be good.

My daughter has played with this exactly once and it went back in the box never to be touched again, requires too much lighting, pictures are horrible and it is difficult to use. She really didn't like it. She has had more fun with the 20Q game that she got for christmas!

(More customer reviews)My friends and I love this game! Whenever we start playing, it's often hours before we stop. While I haven't played this game yet with young kids, I imagine it would be an excellent tool to help kids learn their numbers, and how they all fit together. The fact that the colored tabs move right as the numbers get higher, is also a great visual cue to help kids (and adults who are caught up in the game!) know that their cards are in the right order. Whether with two people or three or four (the most I've played with), this game is fabulous fun. A great game to have at home, or at your cabin or on vacation trips. Also, it's a game that even people who don't really know each other can play together without problem. It's strangely addictive, too! If you play it one night, don't be surprised if the next night, someone says, "Hey, anyone want to play Rack-O again?"!

The player who is the first to get 10 cards into low-to-high sequential order is the winner. A fun way to teach numbers to younger children. 2-4 players.
