(More customer reviews)This is the third Ravensburger puzzle I've completed. The quality is top-notch. As far as this puzzle, I found myself strangely fascinated with skyscrapers while doing this puzzle. It really is a beautiful picture, and I plan on framing it.

4D Las Vegas Skyline Time Puzzle Review

(More customer reviews)i am not an avid puzzle-put-togetherer, but so far it has been a fun ride putting this one together. the bottom half of the puzzle (first base layer) is definitely much harder than the second one - the second half of the puzzle took me maybe 2 hours with the key in hand, but that layer has mostly large pieces in it.
the quality of the puzzle so far has been nice, and i do not think i have lost any pieces yet since i have had it (still putting it together) so i hope i can request replacement pieces if the need arises. the buildings are plastic, and fit very well into their respective base pieces. i thought this puzzle would be one of the easier in the series, but i guess i was wrong in that assumption (but then again, is any puzzle THAT easy?).
as for educational value, inside the box is a chart of dates and casinos that were built through it's time, but no other materials besides the magnifying glass and color key for the puzzle were in my box. i am not sure what the magnifying glass is for, since the casino pieces don't have much detail - they are more generally shaped.
i would recommend this series of puzzles to anyone, definitely.

(More customer reviews)My aunt, grandmother, and I spent about 2 hours putting this puzzle together Christmas afternoon. It is basically 5 individual puzzles that connect to form the pyramid. It was difficult to figure out which part of the puzzle a piece went to because all but the blue side use very similar colors. I also found it quite difficult to connect all of the pieces because the sides would collapse when you tried connecting them.

4D Washington DC Skyline Time Puzzle Review

(More customer reviews)My son took a 5th grade trip to D.C. last spring and he developed a real love for the city. So, he was excited to receive this puzzle as a gift. My husband, son and I all spent time together over the course of 3 or 4 days working on it- and though I would say it is not an "easy" puzzle- it was fun time spent together. The pieces are thick foam and rather than fitting shapes together- (because the pieces themselves are almost entirely comprised of only two different shapes)- it is made to follow a printed map to know where the pieces should go. What we did was build the first layer directly over top of the map. I think that made it far easier than trying to look back and forth at the map and the puzzle. After the first layer is finished, you are surprised to find that you now have to start over from scratch because the second layer is a near exact overlay of the first layer, except with no water pieces (because the water is meant to appear recessed)- and holes for the plastic buildings. This is frustrating at first, but ends up being quite a bit easier because you've already seen it done. Once the second foam layer is on- the reward is the fun of placing all of the buildings in their correct locations. I would not recommend this puzzle for young children- but, perhaps age 9 or 10 and up. One thing to know, which I did not notice in any of the directions, is that the puzzle pieces are packaged in separate bags inside the box. Don't open all the pieces at once! One whole bag is the base layer- and it will become exceedingly difficult if the second bag of pieces is mixed in. These bags are not marked with which to open first- you should open the one that has lots of blue water pieces in it.

4D London Skyline Time Puzzle Review

(More customer reviews)This is my 2nd 4-D puzzle (first did New York City). The only complaint I have about the London puzzle is that a few of the pieces weren't completely severed from each other or the top layer (with the image) was a bit jagged.
