(More customer reviews)NECA has managed to introduce a new feature to their toy line... articulation! This is key in having a toy that will attract children as well as adults. The package states over 20 points of articulation, but I assure you that there are more than just 20! This figure is amazing, great paint job with an amazing sculpt! The turtles have never been so impressive. Buying this packaging over the tube or box set also gives you a few accessories, unfortunately Leo doesn't come with an extra weapon. He does however have a mini turtle, fire hydrant and a quarter section of street scenery that fits well with the other 3 Turtles. This Leo is the first of the Turtles figures to be able to take his swords out from his back! There are a few down sides to the figures though. The figures don't seem to be very durable, the backs of the headbands feel like they could come off as soon as they come out of the package, but they will hold if you don't mess around with them too much. Due to the different types of plastics used in the sculpt, the shell is not an issue with the legs either... free to move them forward and the shell just flexes out. Overall this is a great product, I'm guessing it wouldn't be too good for children who are used to the Mattel line of TMNT toys. Thanks HAMMOND toys for the excellent product.

The NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fixate on the grim comic book aesthetic, plying the Turtles with coarse texture and somber fluidity. Each Turtle is presented stoically; stylized ink details emphasize the musculature and armor plating. NOTE: Each of the single Turtles include weapons and display bases in addition to that shown in the photo above. Leonardo is clad in a narrow red mask, a brown belt, gauntlets, elbow pads and knee pads; he is characteristically armed with twin katana swords. Leonardo is extremely enamored of the sage Splinter, and is rigidly dictated by a code of honor. Noted for his disciplined demeanor and keen strategic mind, Leonardo is generally recognized as the leader of the group. Splinter rigorously trained the Turtles and eventually assembled them to avenge the murders of Tang Shen and Hamoto Yoshi by engaging Oroku Saki in battle. Leonardo participated with his brothers in the confrontation of Sakia?TMs Shredder persona; this original battle was a rooftop fight that concluded with Shreddera?TMs death.
