(More customer reviews)The egg is rather cool - has a 'membrane' on the outside. And the dinosaur lights up very nicely. But to light up the dinosaur/egg, you need a small little part that is easy to lose. And we can't find the piece that connects the head to the jaw so the dragon just sits there broken and forlorn. He doesn't really fit back into the egg once he's out, so you can't use the egg as storage. Nor does the egg close securely. Ours never stays closed.
So while an inexpensive item, it does have a lot of pieces that can get lost and spoil the point and fun.

(More customer reviews)I bought this dragon and loved it. It comes in a cool, clear plastic egg, which has a rubbery 'plasma' sac inside it.
Though they are far smaller than most of the dragons, plasma dragons are light, rubbery, and easy to put together, with a bit more diversity than the bigger dragons.
Being so flexible and rubbery, these dragons can't hurt you if you accidentally step on them. They're also very easy to take apart and put together - no having to press hard at just the right angle.
One of the best things about them is that no two dragon species look exactly alike, or even similar, like the bigger ones. Not only are they differently colored and have three different body types (they each have their own individual head, of course), there are two pairs of wings, and no one dragon species's legs match those of any other.
The only problem is that they are a lot smaller than the other dragons, but this, too, has its advantages. (Plasma dragons can easily be tucked in a pocket and carried around. Fire, Ice and Metal dragons can't.)
