(More customer reviews)The clothing templates that come with this kit are a much smaller scale than the dogs, making it very frustrating for children to transfer the clothing to the dog. They have to be drawn on free hand rather than traced. As an adult, I would even find this hard to do and get them to scale. Also, the glue that holds the design book had dried up and the booklet had fallen out. I was not happy to have to pay two way shipping to FAT BRAIN TOYS(even though I ordered this from Amazon.com) for an item that didn't meet expectations by a long shot.

(More customer reviews)Got this for my daughter's 9th birthday - she carries it in her backpack to school where she and her friends design their own fashions and then name them. Seems to be a hit with that age group. The color pencils are VERY small but guess they have to be for the compact size. Very manageable size to carry around and the whole thing is put together nicely and securely. I would definitely recommend and am purchasing more to be given to her friends for birthday gifts.

Unfortunately, the notepads all fell off the folder and the binding is ripping on the book, it is paper and carboard. I'm sure she will still get a lot of use out of it.

This product was reviewed with high marks on a blog that I follow and I knew I would purchase this for my girl for Christmas. She played with this the entire Christmas Day! (More customer reviews)I bought this for my daughter even though the age stated is 8 and she is only 6. I thought how hard can it be to cut and paste and make some outfits. Well it's not hard, but the level of forethought in planning what you'd like to do and not use every sticker on one outfit, is a bit advanced for her. First you have to trace th pattern, then cut it, then decorate if desired, then make sure you put the velcro tabs in the right places to make it stick to the doll. It's cute but probably won't get picked up again for a bit of time.
Received it in a timely, well-packaged fashion though.

(More customer reviews)I usually avoid trendy toys: High School Musical, Hannah Montana, etc., but Santa brought my little girl this microphone because she wanted it so badly. It plays two songs from High School Musical, but my favorite thing about it is how well it works as a microphone. It is perfect for pretending they're a rockstar...and a number of other things, like say, the president of the United States. My only complaint is that it squeaks if your mouth gets too close to the microphone. I haven't had to replace the batteries yet. We liked it so much we had to buy a second one for my other daughter.
