(More customer reviews)My son is 8. He's addicted to video games. But when he's grounded, he's not allowed to use them. I have despaired of finding any activity that interests him as much as Mario games on the Wii...until his 8th birthday party, when a friend gave him this Quick Flip Books project as a gift. He has spent the last three days working on this, with only brief interludes to go play outside or whatever. Video games have not been touched! He's obsessed with the flip books and I only wish there were more (different) flip book project kits like this one. It's a real winner.

(More customer reviews)My 8-year old son was home sick yesterday while the rain poured and the wind howled and the electricity was nowhere to be found, so we pulled out these new cards and discovered much more fun than we expected. We built and rebuilt... The booklet gives you great basics and a couple of full scale plans, but it is so easy to take off with your own ideas. We had so much fun that we went looking for the additional card packs available from Klutz. I wish Amazon carried the add on packs. The only warning is that these are cardboard pieces, so be careful with smaller kids, they could get frustrated or just not careful and bend the cards. Good thing we went out for dinner, because our kitchen table is covered with CASTLE!

(More customer reviews)I think that this WOULD (emphasis on WOULD) have been VERY VERY VERY FUN. However..... The etch-a-sketch quality STINKS! The lines sometimes had trouble showing up, and it did not erase very well. I bought it with money for my twelfth birthday. I was dissappointed.needless-to-say, i returned it and bought a plain etch-a-sketch.
