Scale is true compared to Spartans and other Halo universe inhabitants.
The detail is insane and it's arguably the most pose-able in the series.
No problems with gun holding, and both the back "fin" and face mask rebreather elements are removable.
Like others in the series, though, it's a display type piece and probably wouldn't hold up too well to actual play.
Hopefully it will be reissued, as Grunts need representation in numbers to fulfill their true potential.

Straight out of the hit video game series and into an articulated action figure form, the Halo 3 Series 1 features all your favorite characters in high detail. Each includes multiple points of articulation and comes with signature weapons.
Grunts are among the lower ranked species of the Covenant, forming the bulk of the hegemony's infantry. They fight in packs and are deadly in large numbers. Grunt features 14 points of articulation, a needler, plasma pistol and removable facemask. Measures 4.5" tall.
