The game itself is usually left at the wayside in favor of just reading the cards and laughing... this is really a great conversation starter for a night out with the guys or when you're all getting together to have a few drinks. Lots of really gross questions (would you rather bite the head off a live gopher, or thoroughly lick the rear of a cat), and some conversation starting and thought provoking situations as well (would you rather cheat on your spouse and no one know, or not do it but everyone thinks you did?); anybody who can appreciate a good fart joke every now and then will have a great time with this.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday I drove with my family across country and this game was a lot of fun and it killed a lot of time. You can play the game as per the instructions or just read the questions and talk and laugh about everyone's answers. We found ourselves making up some of our own crazy questions or just adding to some of the ones on the cards. Well worth the ten bucks.

(More customer reviews)Not for the squeamish, that is for sure! I played this once at a party and just had to have it for myself. The challenge cards are repetitive, but how the challenges work out is really designed by the people playing the game. No challenge is alike, even though the structure may be set up the same way. In other words, some cards have the exact same instructions on them, but for each player or each turn that a challenge card is picked, the turnout is different. It would have been nice to have each one be a new and different challenge though.
Overall, I found this game to be a ton of fun, completely disgusting and worth every penny! LOL It's not like any other game and it isn't boring. I'm glad I searched for it!

Would You Rather Classic Card Game Review

(More customer reviews)My sister gave a set of these cards to my niece this Yule and we sat around playing it under the tree. We ended up laughing so hard we were crying! It was crazy.
Gameplay:
This cards-only version has pretty streamlined play. Choose a card, select one of the four questions on the card and use the tokens marked 1 & 2 to either vote for your own answer or to guess what the rest of your fellow players will vote for as their answer. We found the gameplay rather awkward when we voted on our own answers, so we stuck with the "majority rules" version. Ask the question aloud and enjoy the debate as your friends try to agree if they'd rather... for example find out that their house lies on an earthquake fault OR an Indian burial ground.
Appeal:
While me and my nieces enjoyed the silly, outrageous and, yes, often gross questions, not everyone will find it amusing. Should repeated questions about body odor or dangerous stunts offend you, you'll hate this. Most of the cards contain at least one question of a seriously unappealing nature, but it's fun if you're not uptight.
Overall:
If simple-minded silliness is what you're looking for and you don't want the bulk or bother of the full-blown board game, this pack of cards could be right for you. A good icebreaker and not a bad little distraction if you should find yourself bored with a couple of silly and open-minded friends. Just don't be surprised if, during a lull in your discussions about the relative merits of swimming in a three piece suit versus running in a suit of armor, you find that the people around you (who aren't "playing") are discussing the same thing. This game and the odd questions it asks are hard to ignore!

(More customer reviews)We bought this game on the advice of a friend. And, boy are we glad we found it. We just returned from a long trip to Canada and thouroughly enjoyed playing this game along the way. It is a great way to have some fun on a road trip and it encourages kids to look OUTSIDE of the vehicle instead of staring at an electronic toy or watching a DVD. It also encourages conversation and fair play. My son learned quite a bit about patience as he waited for miles to spot one of the items on his cards. The box is small and easy to store in a glove compartment. And, the cards list each item in three languages - fun to pronounce.
