(More customer reviews)My husband has an obsession with Lego Exo-Force. When I saw this I had to get it for him. We actually like to build them together. It took about an hour, maybe a bit more with the 2 of us working on it. It was a lot of fun :) I would imagine that this would be great for children, both to train them in dexterity as well as skills in following directions, which leads to a great reward :D

LEGO Exo-Force Sentai Fortress Review

(More customer reviews)first of all, I first got this set for christmas. it was a little on the pricey side, but TOTALLY worth it. it comes with seven mini-figs:(that's how we lego junkies say minifigures.)ha-ya-to,takeshi,ryo,sensei keiken,hikaru,meca one, and two iron drones.(not counting the spider robot it comes with)all the humans have anime-style hair(one of the reasons I was atrracted to the line) except for sensei keiken. the base itself is HUGE. it has a medical bay, a command tower, a repair bay,a weapons bay, and there are little carts that can go along the walls. it also comes with a full size battle machine called 'silent strike'. I don't think you can get it anywhere else. it includes a battle machine(not full size)that dosen't have a name, that is meca one's. the thing isn't very well done, and the cockpit keeps falling back.(it's desigined like that, not fully attached to the rest of the body)it has a disk launcher, which dosen't work all that good. I just take out the disks and play with it. the spider bot is cool, but it's legs are hard to poisition right. a cool thing about the repair bay is that any full size battle machine will fit in it.(exept for striking venom and some of the larger sets, like the mobile defense tank. I should know. I tried it) it also includes neat little components like work tools, and other things. on the front there is a HUGE gate. only con that I experienced with it is that the doors keep falling off. it might work better or worse with another one, though.(crazy as it sounds, building and playing with legos since I was four taught me that) the medical bay has a little bed that will fit a mini-fig in it. there is a light brick(again, more lego junkie talk) that is connected to a fiber-optical tube that shines through a little tiny magnifying glass. the weapons bay has two guns, and two missles. overall, this thing ROCKS!! any exo force fan will want one.

Hybrid Rescue Tank Review

(More customer reviews)My eight year old son really likes this Lego tank. For a Lego toy (let's face it, some of them fall apart pretty easily), it's very sturdy. Also, it has a spinning turret, a rotating cannon, and the tank treads work. The turret on top also detaches as a flying attack ship and can be played with separately. It comes with a few mini-figures too! I don't know about you, but sometimes my kiddos' favorite part(s) of a whole Lego set are the mini figures. I think this set is a good Lego value also. There are many Lego sets that cost a lot more and you get a lot less for the higher price. This tank is sturdy, good sized and has a number of play options. One of our best Lego purchases, especially for the price.

LEGO Exo-Force Stealth Hunter Review

(More customer reviews)Ah, the Stealth Hunter! One of the best mechs of the Exo Force Line! Said to be the special missions flight mech of the humans; agile and fast, moderate firepower, but weak defense. Like the other 4 mechs released for the 06 Spring lineup, he features multiple articulation points, a "light up" brick, a book of decals, and a pilot.
The articulation alone is fantastic. The legs can assume nearly any pose, and really give the set playability and creativity. A "Laser Rifle" on his left arm features the light up brick, while the right arm has a double-sword. To be honest, that sword weapon put me off at first; in the world of mecha, it didn't seem very practical. But this is a minor gripe of mine, and it doesn't compromise the greatness of the set. There is also articulation in the "wings" on the shoulders of the Stealth Hunter, which aid it in (imaginary) flight.
The pilot figure, Hikaru, has a reversable head, to switch from calm collected to battle angered! The decal sheet has place-by-numbers instructions, but regardless, it may be difficult for some younger builders. Mom and pop might wanna do that.
Aside the light-up brick, the set itself has no full on action features, but that's fine by me! The set itself is a marvel of design, with loads of potential play.
