Ikki Tousen is a 13 episode anime series loosely based on the manga by Yuji Shiozaki, which is in turn based on the classic Chinese novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The series is known for being full of fan service, featuring a very large cast of attractive young girls, who fight in short skirts and dresses which get constantly ripped off, in addition to numerous other situations. Kanu Unchou believes to be the most feared and powerful Toushi around, she even carries the nearly invincible Blue Dragon Crescent Blade from her predecessor as well as the legendary sword Kusanagi; she also has overwhelming chi. She believes her destiny is to die protecting Ryuubi. It is believed by many characters that Ryomou will one day kill her. Daiki's new product, Kanu Unchou is a very unique item. Kanu's face is almost 100 % alike to human's face, hair style and clothes are detail design in perfect way.

Due to being sculpted crawling this figure won't risk bending at the ankle and looking unbalanced. Also easy to place in front of other figures without obscuring them too much.

Mon-sieur Bome Vol. 11 Jungle Emi 'Combat Version' PVC Figure Review

(More customer reviews)this is a very large statue, much bigger than the pictures made it look and packaged very well to prevent all the moving parts (bracelets and such) from rubbing any paint off. my main complaint, because im a guy, is that her top does not come off. You can get it off but it will destroy the statue itself and leave stained paint on her skin. the top and loin cloth bottom are made of a rubbery material and are pliable but they stay securely in place. the painting on the statue is a little uneven but its only noticeable in the right light. overall its a great figure and a good start to anyone wanting to begin collecting anime statues and it displays very nice. i know its brightened up my room allot! I would deffinitly buy it again since its only $[...] but i woudl not spend more than that on it.

Ryomou Shimei Black Maid Outfit Cerberus Version 1/7 Scale PVC Figure Review

(More customer reviews)This Ryomou Shimei figure is the best that I've ever seen. From its relatively tall 1/7 scale to the beautiful sculpting and amazing detail, this figure stands out in any collection. The pictures can't really do justice to how detailed it is up close, with a soft sheen of the apron and skirt plus gloves and stockings that are almost liquid in their luster. The boots are also exquisitely detailed, with the multiple buckles looking better the closer you get to them. I personally love the expression on her face, too; rather than the harsh look that Ryomou Shimei is known for, this look is much more teasing and playful. Her stance is unique, and I think the way her hands and fingers have her signature handcuffs stretched couldn't have been done better. The figure stands well on the included base and truthfully looks good from any angle displayed. The only negative I can find is that the handcuffs are plastic, not metal, and they are MUCH more fragile than would be expected. Be quite careful when positioning them on her hands.
Overall, this is an outstanding figure, one of the best I've ever seen from any manufacturer. Cerberus does a wonderful job on all their pieces, and this one is no exception. I highly recommend it to any collector who can keep it away from any rough stuff. This one is not appropriate for kids due to the delicate nature of the handcuffs. Some parents might also not like the amount of detail in her attire (or lack of attire, from their point of view). Oh well, it's their loss. In my opinion, beauty is beauty, and this version of Ryomou Shimei is quite beautiful indeed.

1/6 Scale PVC Figure - Mai Tokiha Review

(More customer reviews)First off and I had my doubts even before purchasing it, this is not a 1:6 scale figurine. I'd say 1:7, so it's still a nice size for display. Like most of Max Factory's productions it's made of solid PVC so it maintains a nice rigid stance. It doesn't feel as if it has any play in the legs at all so I have high hopes that this will stand proudly for many years. Even the arms and scarf feel very soild. The first thing to start sagging will be the scraf simply because of it's thinner lines. The coloring is nice, very true to the animation. The stock photo I think represents this very well. This is a full feature figurine so all visible surfaces are painted. The hair and skin have some light color definition to give a nice realistic effect of light and shadow rather than a monotone effect.
Obviously this is a rigid figurine not an articulating action figure. Also this is not a "toy" for children, but neither is the series so I'm not too worried about that point. I rated the durability at 3 out of 5. Not because I feel this figurine is fragile but because like any figurine if you mishandle them, they're all breakable. The only detail I wasn't as impressed with was the mouth. It's open but I don't feel it's of a deep enough definition to give a full 3D effect. All in all though, if you liked Mai-Hime and it's main heorine Mai, you'll like this piece.

This is a cute 1/6 scale pre-assembled and pre-painted figure of Mai Tokiha, one of the heroines of the popular anime "Mai-HiME". Max Factory has Mai striking a confident pose, with one hand giving a thumbs up and her other hand on her hip. Her tantalizingly short skirt is shown lifting with the breeze, and this figure's large size helps one to appreciate the fine detail.
