(More customer reviews)The toy has numbers indicating where pieces should go, but no written instructions, or pictures of how to assemble the toy. This is important, since the pieces could inadvertently be put in upside down: the wood has a light grain on one side, no grain on the other. The toy's head is heavy in relation to the body, and the toy therefore does not balance. We added a support (a pencil, upright) and glued it to the dragon to enable it to stand without falling over.
Some of the layers of wood on the pieces used to assemble the dragon come off when they are detached from surrounding wood in which they arrive. The glue, listed as optional, is essential to keep pieces from falling off while assembling the toy, and after it is assembled. Glue does not come with the toy.
Suggestion for those who purchase the Dragon: assemble the large pieces first. The scales should go in last. Be careful about the tail: the slots are too long for the last piece of the tail, and the tail has to go into the beginning of the slot, or the guide lines on the wood will be apparent.

(More customer reviews)My 10 year old son loves to do building projects. He has moved on a bit from Lego and is wanting to try different projects.
He did this with his uncle. It took them about 7 hours total. I don't think he could have done it on his own. The directions were not great, but not so difficult that they became frustrated. They were very happy working together on this project. My son is thrilled by the result.
The boat is quite sturdy. They used some glue in places, particularly on the knots for the sails.
My son now wants to buy more from this company.
I recommend it. It is great summertime project if a grown-up has time to help.

(More customer reviews)I've built a few dozen of the wooden kits from Puzzled. This was, admittedly, a bit more difficult than the rest. The attraction is the almost complete lack of instructions. Just a drawing of each wooden sheet and some numbers. This is not an incredibly detailed model of a hog. Look at the price. But it will give you several hours of enjoyment. So buy it for what it is.

(More customer reviews)when finished this is a pretty cool 3-D puzzle. it was a little difficult for my 6 year old but made a great son/mom project. If you don't glue the pieces together the legs will fall off every time you try to move it, but the instructions do recommend that you glue the pieces.
