I don't consider myself a puzzle expert. But I'd guess that most people attack puzzles the same way: finish the border, tackle the easy pieces, then fill in the rest while looking at the box plenty.
Well, forget about it. There's no border, there are really no easy pieces, and there's no box to look at to see how everything fits. So the start is very difficult. Your only real clue is the box cover. It doesn't show what the completed puzzle looks like, but it does show you subtle difference between the cows and it confirms that there are some lines to use from the wood boards behind the cows. So you won't have to try 749 pieces for every open spot (even if it feels that way sometimes).
I'd recommend it highly though. If you bought a puzzle called "impossibles" you knew what you were getting in for, and you won't be disappointed. I think adding the extra five pieces was a little cruel, but I think that's what they were going for!

(More customer reviews)We purchased this for our 10 year old. It came as advertised and he enjoys it. 2 words of caution. It is for patient kids and the cars, specifically the connection pieces are delicate. One of the connectors on one of the cars has broken. I don't fault the manufacturer, it's just that type of toy. The track goes together well and there appears to be much opportunity for expansion.

(More customer reviews)I got 2 fences for my 5 year old's birthday. She plays with them endlessly. She puts dinosaurs in them, "little pony's" and her imagination goes wild. The fences are easy and lightweight to set up, are quite large, and easily fold back together when done. Nice is also that they are one big part, just right for a 5 year old who doesn't have the patience to build a fence from small pieces. Elka Porter

Cowabunga Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this game for my nephew for Christmas and he/we love it!
The game is very educational in both math and strategy skills. The cows are adorable and the illustrations on the cards got more than a few giggles out of both kids and adults.
In a time where video games seem to overpower educational toys, it is my job as the "cool Aunt" to provide board games, something lost I'm afraid to today's youth. However, my nephew wanted to play this one, over and over and over, forgetting about video games for awhile.
The game basics are pretty simple, you have to lay down cards until a wave crests (addition) and then bring the wave back down to shore (subtraction). When the wave hits a certain number, you or an opponent get a special wipeout card. If you lay a card and the total of the wave (someone has to keep track throughout) equals the number on their wipeout card... WIPEOUT, you have to grab a cow. The object is to have the least amount of cows at the end of the game.
I highly recommend this game to everyone, you won't be disappointed! This game is fun for both kids and adults!
