(More customer reviews)This was my favorite toy - for about ten minutes. I got it out of the packaging, inserted batteries, and let it shock me. I was surprised by the strength of the shock. I reset it and threw it to a friend, and hot potato began. We threw it around and had some great laughs, but then a friend dropped it. I was not concerned at all, because the product description said it was durable and drop resistant due to the rubber surrounding the ball. It was dropped from standing height ONCE and is now completely broken. I tried contacting Amazon twice, and so far I have gotten no reply. I have tried replacing batteries, holding down the power button - everything. Nothing can fix this ball. :( It was a blast, but was very short lived. I ended up paying a total price of 15-$ and the shipping was prompt, but it is just not worth it for me. 2/5. :(

(More customer reviews)I've become quite annoyed with the price-gouging that has become the "norm" on Amazon within the last 2 or 3 years. It never ceases to amaze me how some of the vendors on Amazon are capitalizing on the fact that they have a "captive audience" due to Amazon's worldwide reputation and are unscrupulously using that fact to cheat consumers by charging outrageously high prices for products that can be found much cheaper elsewhere online. Case in point: The manufacturer of this product Winning Moves is selling the iBall on its website for only $8!!!!!!! This seller is selling the same product for three times that much. Are you kidding me???? That is so unfair. Buyers beware. Shop around for competitive prices instead of just settling on the prices found on Amazon, especially with the Christmas season fast approaching. Sorry if this sounds like an indictment on all Amazon sellers or on Amazon itself. That was not my intention. But there are more than a few vendors who are ripping people off and Amazon should do something about this unfortunate turn of events.

Ravensburger Ocean World - 240 Piece puzzleball Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this puzzle ball for my 7 year old nephew for Christmas, thinking it would be something he would enjoy. My was I right! We just pulled it out for the first time this morning (they have more toys than they know what to do with), and he LOVED it. It was a morning project that took about an hour & a half to complete as a team (he & I and his younger brother & sister).
The best parts about this puzzle ball are:
1) the durability of the plastic curved pieces. It made it easier to put together, and even when he was rushing up the stairs to show his dad, and accidentally tripped dropping the ball, it didn't break. That saved us from some major tears!!
2) The way the ball is set up is by number (on the back/inner side) making it MUCH easier to piece together. Honestly, without the numbers, I think he would have been a little lost- and that's saying something because he's a little expert at piecing together models. In the kit, all the pieces are loose, except for the top and the bottom five. These are the starting points and the puzzles go by inside number around in a circle.
The easiest way for us to piece it together, given the age group of the kids (7, 6, & 4) was to sort the number pieces (first by tens, one hundreds, and two hundreds- then by individual number). This was actually one of funnest (and most educational) parts of the game for the two youngest and they were proud that they got to help their big brother. It really helped the littlest one a lot with numbers too, so I thought it was a great success. :)
Since we were the ones grouping the numbers in order, Connor was really able to fly through piecing the puzzle together. If he was doing it by himself, I'm sure it would have taken quite a bit longer than it did. But I think we worked out the best method for us. :)
I also like that the numbers on the back of the pieces can be used as a guide if you desire them, and am hoping that this puzzle will be something he can hold onto and allow himself to be challenged by in a few years when he's older and is ready to do it without the numbers.
Overall, if you have a kid that's into building or piecing models together, don't hesitate to buy this! We found success with it. :)

Boochie, A Whole New Ball Game Review

We have three kids - our 7 and 9 year old can play (and win) with adults and even our 2 year old can feel like he is in on the action even though he is not really playing.

(More customer reviews)The free shipping from Amazon always seemed fast to me, until I had to wait for my darling Jun to arrive! :) Overall, I'm very pleased with her. She seems sturdy, her clothing and accessories are of average quality. She's about the same size as the 21 cm Obitsu or Volks dolls. They're all sharing clothes right now at my house. Her skin tone is a little odd--I'm guessing they're trying to reproduce a Korean skintone, since she's supposed to be from South Korea. My son is Korean, so I can say it's similar, but no where near as beautiful as the real thing. Her eyes are violet. Her hair is crunchy and over sprayed. She can't sit quite right, due to hips which don't rotate naturally. But with her cute rainboots, she can stand alone without a stand. She's cool enough for this adult collector and yet sturdy enough for ages 6 and up to play with.

(More customer reviews)I remember the first paddle pool, we had fun with it then. Some of the trouble with the first game have been fixed, like the paddle getting stuck at the side because the paddle was too long. The tabs that held paddle are gone, which is what broke off in our first game many years ago, and have been replaced with a snapping system. You do have to assemble this game, so that is different, but it plays just as fun. My brother and I are having great fun reliving the greatness of this game while we share it with our children who are have an equal amount of fun. If you want a lot of action and fun this is a must have game...I am so glad have it and that Amazon offers it at such a great price!
