(More customer reviews)The pictures are deceiving, the torso is really tiny, the organs can be hard to grasp by adult hands( some are less than an inch)!
Great detail and good educational value though, the kids love them, I just gave them 4 stars for the size and the fact that they can be easily lost.

(More customer reviews)the actual size of the toy itself is about 4.5". when you take it apart the pieces are really tiny and one needs crafty hands to be able to put everything back together. because the ovreall dimension is so small the parts are not detailed enough. this was not a problem for me, because i baought it for my 3 & 1/2 year old son, but he needs adult supervision with it. plus the way it's crafted is not very precise, and the pegs that hold the pieces together not positioned right everywhere what also makes it challenging to put it together. it says in the discription that it comes with a book. i'd rather call it a booklet, with very minimal information about the human body.
overall it satisfies the curiousity of my child. it shows him what is the mysterious stuff inside our body (and most importantly where poop comes from) but i don't think it is suitable for further educational purposes. since it meets only a child's level the whole thing should be larger.

(More customer reviews)I ordered the skin along with the bacteria and virus models from this manufacturer. For the price, I expected tiny displays with the quality of a happy meal toy. I was pleasantly surprise to find a very quality item inside.
The model can be taken apart to check otu different areas. All parts are made of a soft, thick, and flexible vinyl that could easily be dropped or thrown against the wall often without it breaking. The hairs are bendable and it is a very tactile model. It comes with an information booklet that is brief but informative. It also comes with a card that condenses the booklet's info and can be placed next to the model for reference. And it all comes in an attractive storage case.
The only detractions I can find is that the model doesn't stay together very well so you don't want to handle it too much or you'll be putting it back together often. Also, the stand itself is cheap thin plastic - I wish the stand had been of the same quality as the model.
In all, I highly recommend this. I was happily surprised when I received this and my daughter loves examining it.
