Seller stated this was not the way the item was to be displayed and that 'someone' went in and changed it - stated it was a flaw with listing items on Amazon.com. The item itself was great and stated to be more durable than the pricey version of same.

(More customer reviews)I have had the BuckyBalls brand magnets for a while. They're a lot of fun and creative, but they're pricey for a little office toy. I saw these Magnet Balls and decided to give them a shot because they're nearly half the price of BuckyBalls. Having read some reviews for other BuckyBalls competitors I was concerned that these would be differently sized than BuckyBalls. Well these are exactly the same as BuckyBalls as far as appearance goes. The only difference so far is that they don't seem as powerful as buckyballs. It's very subtle, but obvious after having played with BuckyBalls for so long. They also seem a tiny bit lighter in weight. Perhaps that's why they're cheaper. There may be less magnetic material in each ball.
Despite them not being quite as great as buckyballs, they're still pretty great. If you've never played with BuckyBalls, you probably wouldn't know the difference. You can make all the same shapes, and it's a decent value.

FLY Fusion? Journal Review

(More customer reviews)Seeing as I wrote a review for the original Fly journal I wanted to do one for the new Fly Fusion journal. I was extremely pleased to discover that the new journal is a much better product than the old.
The journal itself is very nice, the sort you would expect to find in a bookstore in the nice blank notebooks section. It is hardcover with an elastic strap to hold it closed when you aren't using it. The entire thing is filled with interactive Fly paper so you can write in your journal and then upload to your computer (a HUGE improvement over the original with just that) in changing colors. The cover is blue and green with red metallic birds. Built into the journal is a sheet with categories for writing prompts that you can tap. There is a wide variety of these with some good ideas if you're into those. Obviously they are geared more toward a younger audience, but would be an excellent educational tool for writing and journal-keeping for kids. The ability to encode your writing using the Fly pen is also back and works nicely.
The journal is still geared towards girls but this new one is /much/ less overpoweringly girl-oriented compared to the first. Almost all of the writing prompts work for boys now too: Money, Friends, Music, Books, etc. The possible exceptions are Love Struck and Crush being more stereotypically girl-journal specific. The prompts are much more interactive now, sometimes asking yes and no questions before getting to the final question to write about.
I am an adult with a Fly pen and find this journal much more convenient for carrying around than one of the large notebooks of Fly paper. Leapfrog even sells replacement journals so you don't have to buy the software again to get another. It is also the sort of journal I would have purchased if I saw it in a store, Fly pen related or not. Congrats to Leapfrog for improving this product so much!

(More customer reviews)These are a very fun toy, especially for a child that likes to yo-yo. They are more difficult than they look. My son is twelve and he is having a ball; but a much younger child may not be able to do as many tricks. This style is supposed to light up and flash also. We have two out of three balls that are defective. One doesn't turn on; and one wouldn't turn off until the battery died. I wish that I had gotten the regular ones with out the flashing lights.

(More customer reviews)My kids also have this set as well as the Firefly, Maverick, Recon, Night-Finder, and a few others from another manufacturer. Overall, this is a very good value. We tested the load-fire-reload rate of all our guns, and these shoot just as far, and are the fastest within one minute. Their other Nerf guns have rapid fire up to 8 darts, but the reload time takes much longer. These Strikefire guns can only shoot one dart at a time, but it can shoot all the different types of darts, while the guns that use clips can only shoot 1 type. The kids like the Suction cup and Whisler tip darts the most. The vest works, but the kids don't use them. Instead, they prefer to use the glasses and fire darts at each other, esp. the head. We tried the "shoot only under the neck" rule, but that was impossible to enforce. The foam darts seem very safe, as long as they wear their glasses (which is an absolute requirement if they want to play with the nerf guns.) Their favorite battle is to use barriers in our large family/rec room, and to shoot at each other across the room. Playing indoors makes it a lot easier to find the darts during and after the battle. Outdoor battles can be fun also, but more difficult to hit each other, and a lot harder to find all the darts. Buy extra darts to have longer battles. I think we have almost 200 darts, but still run out during a battle before we're ready to quit. Overall, very good play value. Just don't forget the glasses - it's very easy to get hit in the eye and never fun whenever someone gets hurt during a game.

(More customer reviews)Simply... the best buy i have ever made in my life... PERIOD. Well maybe not in my life but its still a great buy. yes they are a little expensive but they are worth it. I was tired of going to sushi places and using that wood chop stick that would either 1)break off funny to begin with 2)leave you with a woody taste (stop think nasty) 3) wouldn't even fit your hands that great. these chop sticks are down right sick. only thing that would make it better is if it actually glowed. I have received many complements from waiters, hostesses and regular customers. i use them for Burger king fried i love them so much.
