(More customer reviews)The black cheese-cloth-like triangles don't hang down as far as those in the photo. They only hang down an inch or so, but do go all the way around the brim. The pointed part of the hat is covered in the same material. This is a good basic hat. It fits my large-ish head. The tip curves over. I hung a spider from the tip and it looks great!

(More customer reviews)It's a little tight to fit on my head and the material isn't the best feeling material to be rubbed up and down on your forehead but I'm trying to stretch it out a bit to make it feel better. Overall, I'm impressed with it. It looks fantastic. I'm using it for either a pirate costume or V for Vendetta costume for halloween. What's great is that it can work for either one.
