So far this 2007 Holiday Barbie is the closest to the mark! From her dimpled cheeks to the thoughtful design of the box she comes in (perfect for display),this Barbie is a charmer! She will thrill anyone who is looking for true Christmas Red on a Holiday Doll. After the holidays your child can pack the dress away with some wrapping tissue in a nice box or other "trunk" til next Christmas. The thrill of taking the dress out for the doll each Christmas teaches the reward of things well kept!

For more than a decade, Barbie has celebrated each holiday season with a special edition doll commemorating the year. Joining this tradition is the lovely 2007 Holiday Barbie. Barbie’s elegant gown features a fitted, strapless bodice with black lace trim along the décolletage, and a full skirt of deep, ruby red. The bodice and skirt overlay are made from soft, rich velvet that is accented with white faux fur and more black lace. Around Barbie’s trim waist is a black belt with a crystal-accented buckle--reminiscent of something Mr. Claus might wear. The gown is removable--thanks to a Velcro back panel--so Barbie can wear something else after the holiday parties have turned into New Year resolutions.

Barbie’s hair is in a half upsweep, with fat curls caressing her slender shoulders. Adorning her long blond locks is a complementary white fur headband. For accessories, Barbie wears a gold necklace with a snowflake pendant that has a small crystal twinkling in its center, matching snowflake earrings, long white gloves, and red shoes. Formal colors coat her lips and eyes, accentuating her perfect smile and flawlessly arched eyebrows.

(More customer reviews)My daughter is getting this doll for Christmas. She loves everything Hannah Montana! Everytime we go to the store, my daughter asks to look at the Hannah Montana dolls. This one is her favorite. She sings and dances to the music. It sings the theme song of the TV show. And it sounds really good! It doesn't have the typical garbled sound that most dolls have. The quality of the sound is the best I have heard from this kind of toy. And it looks a lot like Hannah Montana. The poster and the backstage pass will add to the fun. Especially since my daughter has been begging for a Hannah Montana poster. And I love the price right now! It costs the same as a normal Barbie doll, but it sings and comes with extra stuff! If your child is a big Hannah Montana fan, this doll is a must have!

Since debuting as the Disney Channel’s highest rated premiere, Hannah Montana has won over fans with a mix of playful antics, fresh looks, and chart-topping music. The story centers on young Miley Stewart (a girl-next-door type fans can relate to) who just happens to lead the secret life of pop star Hannah Montana (something fans can aspire to). This singing doll is fashioned on her pop sensation persona and includes the clothing, accessories, and even hit music from the show.


The 13-inch-tall Hannah is wearing an authentic, albeit miniature, version of an outfit she actually wore on her sold out 70-city tour: black boots, shimmery leggings, a tiered mini-skirt, a print T-shirt, black leather jacket, and bracelet. Other accessories that come with the doll include a small brush to help style her long locks, a backstage pass for you to wear, a poster, and a microphone for Hannah to hold while performing. This last piece is crucial because when it is lifted to Hannah’s mouth, the doll actually sings the show’s theme song (and her most popular hit) "Best of Both Worlds."
