(More customer reviews)This game has been popular in my home in the English version. But now that I'm a brand new Spanish teacher, I was thrilled when I found out it came in Spanish, too! It's great for days when the students are wound up just before a holiday break. They can take a break from the stress of academics, have some fun, and still be using Spanish. This game is nothing more than a bunch of nouns and a bunch of adjectives. Everyone gets 5-7 noun cards, then someone puts down an adjective card. Each player has to pick a noun card out of their hand that they think would most likely be described by the adjective card. The "judge" for that round gets to pick the noun card he or she thinks is the closest and the winner gets to keep the adjective card as a way of counting points. Because even my fellow Spanish teachers and I didn't know every word written in the Spanish edition, I went through and divided all the cards into two piles, words my students wouldn't know yet and words they know or should know. I teach second year Spanish and they were really surprised at how much they could figure out. I divided the class into groups of about 5 or 6 and each group got a stack of cards. Because of a delayed start and an assembly, we only had about 20 minutes at the most for each class, so this was a fun way to spend time in class using Spanish.
