(More customer reviews)Fans of CREEPY magazine and horror fans everywhere should love this statue! Based on the cover for CREEPY Issue #7, ReelArt Studios has taken great care in successfully recreating the classic duel between Dracula and the Wolfman as originally drawn by legendary Frank Frazetta. Very well painted and featuring excellent detail (all the way from the fangs of the monsters right down to the rocks upon which they battle) the statue is alive with color, including the dirt and blood stains on fur and clothes. The excellent sculpt on the werewolf truly steals the show. It is awesome!
The statue itself stands approximately ten inches high and comes well packaged and ready to display. It is very solid and clearly meant to last. The four color box features text from ReelArt Studios explaining the origins of the piece. It is a true collector's item with only 500 pieces issued and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity identifying which number of statue in the series you've purchased. In my opinion, it is well worth the purchase price.
Issue #7 featured one of my favorite CREEPY covers and one which certainly captured my attention as a kid when I first came across it. Now to have that cover come to life is a real treat. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it.
