(More customer reviews)Why does Amazon think that this is a toy? It is a scale model kit of a vehicle from a (great) movie. I suppose you could hold it in your hand and zoom it around the room pretending that you're hopping around the moon but really, that's not what it's for. It's for display purposes only (to borrow a line from Toy Story 2).
Moebius re-popped the old Aurora kit of the Moonbus from the movie 2001, A Space Odyssey. They've improved it a bit here and there and they've added alternate (more accurate?) windows but otherwise, it's the old kit - so it's as good as the old kit was (only better because it's actually available). It's molded in all white plastic as opposed to Aurora's gray and green. Moebuis makes good kits and this is no exception.
Although it was sold through Amazon, the kit actually came from MegaHobby and they packaged it nicely and shipped it out pretty darn quick.

1-50 Scale. The Moonbus is being reissued by Moebius Models. The kit is approx 1:50 scale and come with 5 astronaut figures, clear parts and measures about 9 inches long. Decals also included. Skill level 2.
