The figure stands 7-inches measured from the head and not the shoulder armor.
The overall description is accurate but here are some more details.
The Color. It's shiny metallic finish is like a Christmas tree ornament and looks weird compared to my impression of the color from the anime.
It has a smooth surface that actually makes it a little slippery to handle.
It's big doll for the price and I do say doll over model or action figure.
That leads me to by biggest gripe: limited mobility/pose-ability.
The joints for the shoulders and hip sockets ONLY rotate. You can't spread the legs or arms outward.
That's a deal breaker for any super cool poses or scene re-enactments. Weirdly, the elbows rotate outward, but that's not enough. The head also only spins around and doesn't move up or down. No ankle joints so standing him up in anything other than at attention won't work.
Comes with the progressive knife, sniper rifle (pretty cool) and regular rifle.
The power cable (gas nozzle) won't stay in during combat. The head antennae is soft plastic with give, so it will handle some rough play (good).
I have the Revoltech Giant Robo and I will be ordering their version of the Eva. I pretty much grabbed this one because it was half as much.
$16 USD verse $32 USD. I regret being a cheapo.
