(More customer reviews)If you grew up watching Hanna Barbera cartoons on Saturday mornings like I did, you'll love this edition of Uno. All the HB characters from the 60s and 70s are here. Scooby Doo, Magilla Gorilla, Yogi Bear, Top Cat, Snagglepuss, Huckleberry Hound, Atom Ant. Wally Gator, Dick Dastardly and more.
The basic play of the game is unchanged, with one exception. There are a couple of "pic-a-nic" cards in the deck. These allows you to grab the top card showing on the discarded card pile at ANY time, even if it's not your turn. That player then puts the pic-a-nic card on the discard pile and announces the color of his choice that he/she wants played. Play then goes back to the person who would have been next in turn had the pic-a-nic card not be used. A good "retro" edition of Uno that would probably go well with people over 40.
