(More customer reviews)I am a huge fan of Stargate Atlantis and especially the Wraith. I must say I like this figure, it is detailed, looks to be of good built quality and generally looks quite nice. The figure do not come with a base to support it but it do stand quite well on it's own. It comes with three different kinds of weapons, a stun rifle, a gun and a grenade, and all fit well in the figure's hands. The Wraith figure is posable and decent but not excellent articulation. I have really only two minor gripes with this figure. One is very minor, the hair of the figure is more yellowish than white, while in the show the male Wraith had silver white hair not rice paper yellow white, however this is not really a problem, the hair is still white even if it is the wrong shade of white. My main grip with this figure is the lack of a feeding organ in his hand. Now yes you would not see it when the figure is holding a weapon but hell they have taken the time to paint the slanted pupils in his eyes, and have added tiny details to his hair, how hard could it be to sculpt or at least paint a small slit in the figure's right hand. I know I am picking at something very small here, but the feeding slit is such a big part of what the Wraith is that it seams very strange that they have not added just a few stokes of paint to add that detail. But all in all this is a very good action figure.
The Wraith figure also comes with one part of a Stargate model with when complete will serve as base for all the series one and two Stargate action figures. You can get more pieces of the stargate by buying more actions figures from this toy line. The piece which comes with the Wraith is a part of the brown base of the stargate model.
Just a added note, I wish they had made a Todd action figure. There is a Steve one but that one is only available through some special order. The figure sold on this page is one of the scientists which came to Atlantis at the end of season 2 and then later back stabbed them. The Queen from that same encounter is also available as an action figure.
