I love that there are no discs/downloads or computer/software games to deal with. We have both the country and pop versions and they are perfect for any child able to read. My 9 and 5 year old love to play with them (without supervision), and they are great for parties and "idol" contests. Good variety of songs for boys and girls. My only reservation on a 5-star rating is for the inability to download more songs. Also my son wants a rock song version.
