Yet, the darts are safe and don't damage anything. My boys love dart tag...way to go Nerf! Vests are actually moving scoring targets. Glasses are for safety...and their really cool looking. (More customer reviews)I remember playing capture the flag at camp when I was young. This is a lot cooler than a flag! This is a light and sound beacon that includes multiple games you can play. You can play both inside the house and outside. My kids play in the woods outside a lot. I would recommend getting extra darts with this because we seem to be losing them pretty easily. My kids also use the "flag" (light beacon) with their Nerf Lazertag system. They play non stop it seems. Great exercise!

(More customer reviews)My son just celebrated his 10th birthday, and this was one of the gifts I purchased for him. As always, he was thrilled to see the "Nerf" logo on the box when he unwrapped the package. He jokingly called the gun "puny", but it packs a punch and shoots the darts a long way. The Velcro ends on the darts stick to the target quite well most of the time, and also stick to some types of clothing as well (which turns the toy into a different sort off "dart tag" game).
The one down side is that it only comes with three darts. Thankfully, I bought an extra package of darts at the same time as the toy. The company should include at least a dozen darts with the toy, as they do get lost or bent at times.
