(More customer reviews)As an aunt who spoils her niece silly, I thought I would get big kudos buying this doll for my 7 year old niece for Christmas since it was the only thing she really wanted. Unfortunately, both she and I have received more teasing than I expected. The doll does indeed wear what appears to look like a thong. This is something to which today's teenagers have become accustomed but I still find it inappropriate for younger children. My family could not help but tease me for buying something so inappropriate but my niece took it personally. She called in tears saying, "my doll has a thong!" Needless to say, I never wanted to hear my sweet niece say the word thong. Now for her birthday I have been instructed to find pants or a diaper for her doll. I don't think this diminishes the quality of the doll for older kids but I want those buying the doll for younger kids to know before buying.
