James Bond BMW Z3 Review

(More customer reviews)True to the tradition of faithfully representing James Bond's showcase set of wheels, Corgi once again stands out from the rest of the pack as the best re-creator of the vehicle that 007 relies upon to get him out of danger and turn the tables on the bad guys. This time, though, it is not the classic Aston Martin, but the BMW Z3. As in the movie, it has missles which are launched from seperate points, so you can launch them one at a time. Just press down on the back of the seat, and "BOOM" -- there goes Jeffrey Beane's rear-end in a flash. This time the evil-doers are shaken, stirred, and vaporized! The aqua blue color also makes this car stand out from the traditional grey-silver of previous Bond wheels. The only (very minor) thing which I don't like is that one of the little side-mounted mirrors on my particulat vehicle occasionally pops out of place and when I replaced it, the mirror's arm bent. Otherwise, if you like all things Bond, this edition of her Majesty's Licensee- to- Kill's cars keeps Corgi's unbeatble line going strong. It is a completely cool car!

Scalextric C2783A - Mercedes SLR "722" and 300 SLR Twin Pack Review

(More customer reviews)My set was missing the Scalextric info card! The card has a picture of the cars and the set number. If I were to resell it I would have a real problem with it, as it is I plan on keeping them. Other than that, I am happy with the low price.

Yat Ming Scale 1:18 - 1958 Aston Martin DB2/4 Mark III Review

(More customer reviews)It is an attractive, much less expensive alternative. The car 1:18 scale is rather ideal for display on the shelf or for use with other toys. Please note that I was a bit disappointed that the the rolled back convertible top was not black as pictured, but light tan like the rest of the interior. (Does the car actually still come with a black convertible rolled back top as pictured? If it does, I would prefer it rather than the one sent. Thanks.)
