(More customer reviews)The idea is great. However, the blocks are painted, which creates two problems: 1) the plastic Mario pieces don't fit in the holes as they should because the holes are too tight, and 2) the blocks are very wobbly because they are not level like the classic Jenga blocks.
Avoid this one and buy the original. Very disappointed.

(More customer reviews)I received this as a Christmas gift last year, and since I got it I can say it is one of my favorite display items in my room. I'm a huge Nintendo fan and this is one of my favorite Nintendo items. You really can't change his pose but to me the pose fits DK 100% so that is no big deal to me. He is very big, but I think collectors will get more out of this then a kid will. His paint seems to scratch off easy because I noticed as I droped him one time (not a big drop by any means) he had a small paint scratch on his arm. I'm very pleased with this giant DK though and I think its perfect for any Nintendo fan.
