(More customer reviews)Rarely does a toy exceed my expectations for my son. I am usually right on with my expectations. This one, especially for the price, was so much more! It offers two different sets of directions for two types of dinosaurs, which gets you started. From there, you child can let his or her imagination create all sorts of new dinosaurs, whether you attach the motor for movement or not.
K'NEX products have been a favorite in my home since my mother-in-law purchased my son's first set for Christmas when he was 3. I am extremely pleased that now he is older, there are even more choices for him that continue to fuel his imagination, and are developmenally appropriate.

LEGO BIONICLE? Zaktan Review

Packaging: Very well designed, the packaging for Zaktan shows him in a very menacing pose, while a copy of his face sits on top. Press the button on the top of the lid to make the mask eyes glow red.
Initial Opinion: Wow. Just wow. Almost every single piece in this set is new, never-before-seen-in-a-lego-set. Once long piece comprises the back and arm spikes and the head. The light up eyes from the outside of the canister unattach from the packaging to become the eyes for the actual set. Very cool designs.
Building: Building is fairly straightforward, easy for traditional Bionicle builders. The spikes are a new deal, wrapping around the body to attach to the arms and lower back.
Built: Zaktan stands an immpressive near 6 inches tall, with glow in the dark teeth (teeth-never before seen in any lego set ever), the glowing red eyes, a bird-wing-like weapon on one armed, and the new launcher on his other, which launches the new round projectile christened the "Zamor Sphere". The set comes with 4 Zamor Spheres, so don't worry about losing one. The feet are wide, and there are many many many points of articulation, allowing for unbelieveable poses, including many stand-on-one-foot, bend-over-backward, watch-out-i'm-gonna-kick-your-butt poses. From looking at this guy's face, I can just imagine him saying, "Ello chum." and then cutting my arm off.
Final: 10/10, 100% perfect gift for any Bionicle fan. A creepy but fun new enemy for the toa that will surely haunt their nightmares on Voya Nui. Great buy, worth your $! Collect the Piraka...before they collect you.
