My only complaint is not with the dice but the amount of dice, I would love to find a larger set combination of d20 dice. This set contains 1 each, d20-percentile set(2d10)-d12-d8-d6-d4. As an avid d20 gamer, mainly DnD, I would like to find a set containing 2d20, percentile set(2d10), 2d12, 2d10 separate from percentile, 2d8, 6d6, 4d4, and shipping with a appropriate size dice bag with a locking slider on pull cord.

Opaque dice are made of a particularly dense material for a better feel when rolling. This material also allows for flatter faces and sharper edges. The wide variety of colors is also very consistent so that an opaque Chessex die from years ago will match those available today. These dice are very economical, at a fraction of the cost of others. Polyhedral 7-Die Speckled Dice Set - Strawberry Review

(More customer reviews)There is a nice contrast between the speckled red of the dice and the green numbers. They're similiar to Chessex's Veronica dice, but with the Strawberry set, the red is a shade lighter and the green numbers stand out much better than the blue numbers on the Veronica set. Overall, the dice roll well and the numbers are easy to read.

ChesseX offers eleven (11) different colors of 7-die Polyhedral sets, one of the best selections of gamer dice offered and excellent for each player to have their own distinctive set. I prefer the green, but have a blue set as well. But with so many choices it is easy to pick your favorite or an easy compromise.
I prefer the translucent to solid color die mainly because there is something bout the slightly luminous background of the translucent plastic that sets off the black numbers better, making them easier to read and providing a more pleasant gaming experience.
Accuracy on random number generation is important. I got my undergraduate statistics students to test the ChesseX die with 1,000 throws, and the quality report came back: EXCELLENT. These are die that throw random numbers from their possibility set.
The slightly rounded edges make for clean throws and firm resting stops, although the inherent composition of the plastic makes them bounce pretty easily off a Formica table. These die work better on cloth surfaces.

Which is good when having younger kids playing along with the adults with less chance of the stack tumbling over.Which in the game you then subtract points. It works with adding skills when you have your younger child count their points up...With assistance if to small to do it on their own.
We have given the smaller regular sized dice version as gifts to older children. But the Giant Stack game is the one we have in our home due to us having smaller children. I am actually going to call the teacher supply store near us to see if they have the Giant Stack in the Purple dice version tomorrow. For when we have parties...We are so limited to when this game can be pulled out. With a second set of the purple color. It can be fun for 8 people!
We take this along on vacations with us to play in the evenings we enjoy it so much...and it's always a hit when we have guests over. Some play cards at another table...but end up waiting to get in on this game...Commenting they wished he had the other color that is shown on the box. So more of them could play.
What kid doesn't love rolling dice? And you get a lot of dice to roll each time a new hand is started...
